Traveled to Overtown manor for a 2 night stay with my parents from London as a countryside getaway. Really convenient (15min drive into Wiltshire downs) from swindon station. Close to Avebury and Marlborough for morning walks and exploring. The manor and the rooms were lovely - full of character and everything very tidy. Nancy was a wonderful host! There was cake (and delicious banana bread) and coffee in the evenings by a roaring fire and a hearty freshly cooked breakfast. Already plotting my return - thanks Nancy!

Lovely peaceful grounds.Had a lovely night sleep and Delicious breakfast, plenty of tea and coffee also with fresh milk! The B and B itself is a beautiful and huge historic manor house with a lovely feeling to it! would highly recommend and would return!

I can't say enough about Nancy and her family and staff!!! They are wonderful! Genuinely beautiful people. They have a fab folder of things to do, walks and places to eat ready for you in the room, which was clean and cozy with homemade cookies and lovely views over the farm :D the breakfast in the morning was devine....her granola is the best granola I have ever eaten! We were there as part of a weekend course and Nancy cooked us the most fabulous lunches with cakes and biscuits......I put on 1.5Kg in 4 days and I regret nothing :D and in the evening it was so relaxing curled on the couch in the reading room! so if it's just a place to stay to see the local area or you are looking to organise a meeting or conference I recommend Nancy's B&B, hands down best choice!!!! Also really easy to get to, I flew in from Dublin and didn't know where I was going and it's was still super easy to get to Overton! Thank you for a fabulous weekend!!! Superb in every way. From booking to departure exemplary customer service. Accommodation, ambiance and food all excellent. A gem that should not be missed. Nothing comparable in the area. A stellar example of what hospitality should be like.

We were traveling around the area and hadn’t booked anywhere to stay. We rang very last minute on a Saturday evening and Nancy was so accommodating! She greeted us with tea and homemade cake, had wonderful recommendations around the area and many stories about the history of the house and farm. The place is amazing, the decor, bedrooms, atmosphere and every single detail. A hidden gem so close to the countryside and just a step away from the Costwolds. Breakfast next day was delicious and included plenty of local, organic and homemade options. Staying at Overtown Manor has been an absolute dream, we only wished we could have stayed for longer but we are so grateful we somehow came across it! They have only just re-opened after Covid so I do encourage anyone in doubt to stay here. Thank you for everything Nancy!!!
