First visit to this venue. Very nice first impression. I enjoyed the display of paintings on ceramic tiles and the watercolour pictures. There were a few sculptures which would sit very happy in my home too. Very nice tea and cakes on display. Will definitely visit to see and experience more of the displays and this very lovely building.

A hidden gem in centre of Dunoon ,a great little arts centre with gallery ,theatre ,meeting roomsand really friendly little cafe with good coffee, homemade cakes and John the cook prepares well presented simple luncheons from tiny kitchen ,most of the staff are volunteers within the arts centre and they offer a warm friendly welcome ,interestingly dog owners are most welcome and there appear to be a number of very regular patrons of the four legged variety with their owners! The gallery has regular changing events and the theatre covers most aspects of performing arts with good mix of music and plays for all ages. If in Dunoon its well worth a visit as its open 5days a week but closed Monday and Tuesday. There are a number of paintings and other items available for sale also within the gallery and cafe. I did the above review sometime ago and needless to say there have been a number of staff changes and inevitable price increases .The cafe is under new management as various staff have left like John who ran the kitchen ,sadly prices have risen but i have noticed less regular customers using it and some days there are very few people using the cafe ,the same friendliness is lacking and theredore the atmosphere has changed .As for rest of Burgh Hall celebrating 150 years its arts activities are commended and it certainly is worth a visit as some of the events have been outstanding .

Dunoon has several great places for coffee and a snack, and this is one. Friendly staff, fair prices. Very handy if you want to check out the exhibition they have on at the time. Also sell artisan jewellery. Limited seating

Lovely wee café for lunch. Friendly staff and a modern feel inside an old building. They always have vegan options. I had a chilli baked potato which was nice.

Been a few times now, staff are all lovely and the venue is perfect for all shows of different kinds. Also has a museum. Well worth a visit to a show!!

Wonderful place. Visited with my disabled mother as we were desperate to see the Dante Rossetti exhibition and have to say the accessibility for disabled people was perfect for our needs, including the cafe. To see such history in real life was amazing. Thank you so much for the opportunity

Popped in for the first time yesterday morning and it certainly will not be the last. Staff fantastic, the young lady who served our table was first class. My jacket potato was a good size with plenty of filling and my partners soup was delicious and full of flavour. Coffee again very good and finished off with a delightful white chocolate cheesecake. Can't wait to go again!!

Good food and service. The Burgh Hall is a stunning building as well. Garden has just opened and is a bright setting for lunch. Staff were very friendly.

🫤 The place is clean. The food is ‘not’ greasy. The staff are average. When you charge £3.50 for two teas they should be top value…they weren’t. Scrambled was bland. Square sausage half the size of a barely buttered roll. Macaroni cheese tasteless. Chips? Forget it! I do not like bringing places dow...
