Absolutley the best Surfcasting Travel Rod I have used yet. I recently bought a R&R S-Max 3.20 (10.5') travel rod. (Amazon USA, it arrived 4 days later to Canada!) It is a first class rod. I have broken many other rods over the last 10 or more years ( Ardito’s, Rapalas and Okumas ) not from damage just from casting lures like Cabo Killers, Buzz Bombs, etc. 2-3oz lures... I just came back from a month in the southern Baja, Los Barilles to Todos Santos, fished everyday from the beach, caught every species you could imagine even a 5-6' Hammerhead shark on this rod with no problems. It's a Great Rod packs easily in your luggage in its hardened 25" long case. I paired it with a Quantum Cabo PT60 spinning reel, long effortless casts with 50# Spiderwire braided casting line 4-6 hours a day. I bought the rigged and ready predator rod from the rigged them ready website. It arrived promptly and was packaged well so no complaints with shipment. I was a little confused with how the rod fit together, so I contacted the rigged and ready. Customer service team and they were very happy to help. Basically the joints are spigot joints and do not need to sit flush. They are designed this way so everything is fine. Google spigot joints if you’re unsure!! :) the rod is light and easily put together and carry case is of very good quality. You’ll receive two different tips for two different cast weights and the handle is reversible so it can take a spinning reel or a bait casting reel so the road is very versatile. I did have one minor issue with the rod as some of the cork was coming loose. I contacted rigged and ready and they sorted out the issue within 24 hours. I am extremely happy with the service that they have provided. Also the guarantee provided on all the rigged and ready rods is fantastic. I would just like to mention that this rod does not come with a real. I didn’t have an issue with this as I had noticed it in the product description, but I haven’t seen the other people seem to have thought they may come with a real but it does not. Finally, this was my first time ordering from rigged and ready, but I will definitely use them again!!! Go on treat yourself, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Rigged and ready tackle is the best! I have multiple rods and reels and have never seen a better travel solution for fishing. I lost one of my rod tubes and got in contact and they replaced it free of charge. Amazing products with the same level of after service. Wouldn't use anyone else now

Purchased the smuggler 6 travel rod. An excellent little rod that holds its own against carp in the mid teens. Have used it for a variety of fishing methods and it is a good all rounder. I damaged one of the sections and contacted the seller who replaced the section without any hassle. Not only a great rod, great service that comes with it too.
