Everything about Damson View was perfect! Carole showed us around on arrival making sure we knew where everything was if/when we needed! The pod was spotless with a bottle of fizz in the fridge and chocolates! We also booked into the Punchbowl Pub down the road and the food was amazing! Carole and Howard are fantastic hosts. We will definitely be returning in the summer, Thanks again for a lovely stay!

Just come back from a lovely weekend staying at Damson View. We were in the Hilltop pod. Everything was perfect, so well equipped and very comfortable. Wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again. Carole and Howard made us feel very welcome indeed and are wonderful hosts. We will be back!

We had an amazing 2 nights at Damson View and we can’t wait to come back again! Carole and Howard were so welcoming and had thought of everything! The pods are spacious but cosy and presented immaculately! The views are breathtaking! I would recommend a stay there to anyone, it was such a special place!

Excellent stay! Wonderful roomy pods. Well thought out and full of lots of bit you need e.g. torch. Very comfortable bed and powerful hot showers! Carole and Howard were warm and welcoming suggesting a lovely 4 mile walk for our last day. Will hopefully be back soon!

This was our second time at Damson View & it was absolutely perfect once again. The pods themselves are the most modern, well-kitted & spacious that we've stayed in, the location is perfect (almost equidistant between Kendal & Windermere), and Carole & Howard are genuinely lovely hosts. We'll definitely be back again!

We had all five pods booked for a special birthday weekend. The pods were fantastic. Really comfortable and well equipped both inside and out including a kitchen area, a king sized bed and gorgeous walk-in shower. Howard and Carole were really very friendly and so helpful.

What can I say ….. we had an absolutely perfect stay at Damson View with friends to celebrate a significant birthday. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything. Carole & Howard even organised the weather for us!! The pods are great, magnificent views, peace and quiet 🤫. We all want to come back - BBQ and fire pit were great for us to sit together and relax with a beer. Thank you for the lovely birthday touches as well - all very much appreciated.

Just returned from a long weekend at Damson View. I echo all the other reviews. Five stars doesn’t do it justice. The pods are spotlessly clean, very well equipped and have stunning views. Couldn’t fault a thing. Didn’t get to meet Carole but Howard was very pleasant and attentive. Great hosts. Will definitely return!
