Improved loads over the years. A really lovely park now and the hut for ice cream and coffee's is open, perfect. Lots of children playing, people meeting up, it was very nice to see it being used so well.

The car park is a good size. The play park is really good it's separated into different age sections. It's has a maze. Swings, climbing frame and other play equipment. There a small cafe beside the play park. I did not use it so I'm not sure how much food/drink cost or what they serve. There a few picnic tables dotted about the park. There is crazy golf and putting and small trampolines. There is a charge for them but it's quite reasonable price and the man serving is really happy and friendly. The toilets are located beside the crazy golf. There a large grass area where you can play football,Throw rugby ball, badminton. There seats about the park so you can have a sit down.

Lovely amenity for families and a pleasant Riverside walk. The derelict tweed mill was particularly fascinating and good subject for photography. Nice friendly little cafe next to play park. Free parking.

Really nice area just by the Riverside nice walk. I went looking for waxwing and wasn't disappointed. Apparently, they've not been seen there in five years

Recently visited family in Dumfries and decided to visit the Dock Park area for a morning run. Great route from the car park all the way to the Swan Pub and back along the cycle route, very flat and runs right alongside the river which gives some great views whilst running. There and back comes to nearly 5k for anyone looking to do the same route.

The Hut Cafe in the park. Drinks and cakes/snacks. Seating inside and out. Next to playback and free carparking. Pleasant location and friendly staff. Handy for a meet up with a friend. The park is by the riverside. Good for a walk on flat surface - no steps.

I went to see the Waxwings in the park, of which there was about 40. It's a nice place for a stroll. There is a cafe and a playground. There is also free parking.

Lovely nice level park by the river Nith in Dumfries. Its a nice easy walk down stream from the car park then across the river and up stream to the Auld bridge. A very easy stroll back to the car park down the town side again. I would say over a mile of easy walking. Ideal for dogs. Good place to finish is the cafe just along from the car park. Plenty for kids to do as well.

The place to play Mini Golf, Putting practice, Carpet Bowls and Trampolining as well as a Bouncy castle for the Kids to have fun on. Also Do not feed the Seagulls or they will attack you and please don't smoke when you have children with you
