A lovely place to visit. You can do this as part of a short or long walk. Beautiful scenery and the view from the top of the tower is fab. It is dark so worth taking a torch. Be careful when wet. There is no hand rail up the tower or from the top.

Hard walk up the mountain if your a little bit out of shape. Lovely view on the way up though. Only problem is there's no barrier at the top of the monument so if you go up the stairs be careful.

Is a 15-20 min hike. Please wear hiking boots and would avoid going if it's raining as the area is very muddy. There is no barriers so if you slip it could be bad. You can climb up the tower however it has not been restored so no handrail or anything to assist you getting up there. Would take a torch/use your phone torch as you can't see the steps going up otherwise. Views from the top are amazing :)

Great view from the monument, not to taxing walk up.

A superb walk. Quite strenuous little walk say 166mt mostly in step formation and an excellent tower at the top as a reward. Superb views. 👍

Great views from the top of the monument. You can do a nice and easy circular walk following the gravel path. But if you want to make it more challenging there is a steep rocky mountainpath going up as well.

Breathtaking views at the top. We went up the stepped way. Stone steps are rough and tall and ascent is rather steep; would recommend walking poles. To be honest I wouldn't have liked to go down the stepped way so we descended using rough path on other side. Views are worth the climb!

The view from the top is 360° and stunning. Take care though as there's no edge protection and the 63 (I think) steps can be tricky, especially when wet. Still, it's well worth the strenuous hike.
