Good café with range of food and drinks, friendly staff and easy access from the parking.

Day or night, sun wind or rain or snow your bound to find a trail or two you love. There is something for everyone here down at the tweed valley. Walking MTB or birdwatching is popular down here .

The amenities are good. Clean and tidy. Even the parking fee is reasonable....if you can get it to work!! Card facility not working and required the download of an app(in the middle of nowhere) didn't work on partners network, we then tried getting change at cafe to be told they only use card. We would have just left and gone elsewhere except it's numberplate recognition at the gate and would have occurred a £50 fine. After a half hour of fannying about I eventually got enough network to download app to pay for parking. This experience marred what would have been a lovely day. The walks are lovely and separate from bike tracks so doggie can be off the lead. If you want to go here make sure you have ring go app already loaded and registered on your phone. Or a pocket full of pound coins!!

Everything a mountain biker could ask for. After riding some amazing trails I had a nice warm shower for just $1 and even got a free bike wash. What else could I ask for

2023 UCI Cycling World Championships

If you're into mountain biking, chances are you've been to Glentress. That's because it's the unofficial home of MTB in Scotland. The visitor centre is great with good changing and facilities available, as well as providing information for some other activities such as bird watching. My only gripe is that the facilities close fairly early when there is still plenty of activity happening in the summer evenings. It would be great to see it expand the changing and shower facilities and open for longer.

Great trails, skills areas. Easy to join up the various trails, black, red, blue, green and many secret trails. 4 car parks, toilets, cafe and bike shop.
