First time being there, cafe prices were reasonable especially buy 1 fish supper & get another 1 free but o lying available on a Friday between 12 - 2, vast range of food on the menu too. 2 levels of the main shop with vast amount of goodies. Staff very friendly & helpful, it's worth a visit, shop & cafe on the East Side of the town & they have a carpark

The best furniture store in the north east. Staff who genuinely care about meeting your needs. Fantastic choice all across the store and some wonderful selections of home furnishings and decor. Huge place with a warehouse to the rear which you can also peruse...not to mention a lovely good sized cafe on site. Excellent store all round.

Afternoon tea today - absolutely delicious! Everything really nice & freshly prepared. Plenty of it too! Served by lovely friendly efficient staff as always. Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommend the Scolty Cafe - frequent visitors & have never been disappointed. 😘

My mum & I had a lovely cuppa, we turned up on 19th December & luckily managed to get an igloo to sit in without a reservation. I'm so glad we did as it was really good, the igloos are soo warm there's a heater & blankets if u want use it but it was so warm in the sun I sat with my t-shirt on & wasn't cold at all. The staff were helpful but not overly so The freshly made (right before your eyes) pancake was moorish & so many lovely tubs of jam to choose from it was a really fantastic experience 10/10

A furniture store & more...gifts, cards, unusual bits...great cafe..and a warehouse full of furniture to browse through..all colleagues helpful..no hard selling....beautiful items...well worth a drive out..even just for the cafe....give it a go..

I recently purchased a sofa through Duncans. I was looking for one to be delivered promptly so was advised to buy through a European manufacturer rather than those from the Far East. The sofa was quoted at being delivered in 10-12 weeks at the time of purchase however it was only delivered after 20 weeks. Considering the delivery took twice as long as anticipated I was only offered a £100 goodwill gesture, which doesn't even amount to a 5% discount. I did communicate that £100 was a poor gesture over email yet Duncans failed to respond to me. They then sent out an invoice without any discount at all. From my experience I would double the projected delivery times and do not expect prompt replies if you have a complaint.

Good selection of furniture. Friendly, helpful staff. Cafe serves nice lunches and snacks.
