Fantastic team of wildlife rescue workers. They work round the clock with enormous dedication and energy to help injured birds, nestlings, fledglings, squirrels, hedgehogs, herons, foxes, deer, badgers and many more species to heal and survive, before releasing them into the wild. Feeling so very grateful to the staff and volunteers who care about and support the life of all wildlife.

Sadly this place has been taken over by cranks who have zero public relations skills. I had previously taken them a Wood pigeon I had found on the road with a couple of small wounds on Sunday the 30th of July and was initially told that it seemed in fairly good condition otherwise. I had to go back again today (3rd of August) with another injured pigeon and asked about the wood pigeon I had brought them on Sunday to which I was told that they couldn't remember me and then eventually vaguely told that it didn't make it and basically go away and send us an email if you want more info. They couldn't tell me why it was pts which I think is a very reasonable question to ask, after all why would I want to take any further injured birds to them if I felt they weren't being given a fair chance. I later received an email accusing me of aggressive behaviour, saying I was not welcome to bring them any more injured animals and threatening me with the police if I ever step foot back in the New Ark again. Absolutely bizzare beyond belief considering I wasn't in any way aggressive or abusive. I never raised my voice or was abusive in any way, simply asked to be told what had happened to the previous bird I had brought them and stated my reasons for wanting to know why in a calm and rational manner. That is all that happened nothing more nothing less, perfectly reasonable behaviour imo. I care very much about the wellbeing of animals but apparently these fruitcakes somehow deem asking questions to be aggressive and intimidating behaviour. Deeply saddening to see that this place has been taken over by such unfriendly and unreasonable human beings. It seems that their own bloated egos are more important than the animals they profess to care for.

Wonderful caring people who spend so many hours caring for all types of animals. They deserve so much thanks and more .

I phoned at 8.30am on a Sunday morning and a lovely gent picked up, answering my question about a possible injured blackbird. So great to be able to speak to someone on the phone directly and get reassurance as what to do for the best. Saved myself several hours of worry and Googling!
