This
review
is
for
the
bottling
tour
and
experience.
We
did
not
stay
at
the
hotel.
Bottom
line
is
that
it’s
100%
worth
it
to
take
the
ferry
over,
even
if
just
to
visit
the
distillery.
Our
tour
guide
was
a
friendly
young
woman
(can’t
remember
her
name
-
sorry)
who
was
relatively
new
to
the
distillery.
She
was
enthusiastic
about
Raasay
but
clearly
loved
learning
and
talking
about
whisky
in
general.
Very
friendly,
welcoming,
and
informal
in
the
best
way.
They
do
everything
on
site
except
for
growing
and
peating
the
barley,
though
they
plan
to
start
growing
at
least
some
on
the
island
in
the
near
future.
The
bottling
tour
is
a
great
value
as
you
get
3
drams
(2
scotch,
1
gin),
and
you
get
to
see
the
production
floor
and
bottling
(as
expected).
The
whisky
itself
is
great
and
I
personally
love
that
they
sell
a
distillery
exclusive
bottle.
It’s
a
great
souvenir
to
memorialize
the
trip,
more
than
something
you
could
conceivably
get
in
your
home
country.
Even
better
that
it’s
so
good.
Friendly
service
all
around
from
the
bartenders
to
the
cashiers.
Highly
recommended.
