The stay was amazing. Beautiful location, amazing service, the tasting was fantastic, and the breakfast was also very good. Sadly we weren’t there for the dinner service so we will have to come back, but the dinner at the hotel nearby was good. Definitely want to come back for a few nights to relax, hike, and enjoy the amazing whisky, scenery, and hospitality.

We had a lovely two night stay and will definitely be back. The distillery tour was excellent, very informative and interesting and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The bar and shop were well stocked and again all the staff very helpful and friendly. Now to mention the restaurant, we had dinner on the first night at the Raasay House Hotel and it was very good. The second night we had dinner in the restaurant at the distillery and I was expecting another nice meal, however my expectations were blown away. I had ordered the venison loin and I have to say it was the most exquisite plate of food I can remember eating. I don’t have the words to praise the food enough, the Chef and his staff do an amazing job.

Our new favourite distillery! We stayed, had dinner, and enjoyed a tour and tasting. Every element was well considered and the staff are all so friendly and enthusiastic. As vegetarians we were well catered for and u surprisingly the drinks were great. The setting is just stunning too!

This review is for the bottling tour and experience. We did not stay at the hotel. Bottom line is that it’s 100% worth it to take the ferry over, even if just to visit the distillery. Our tour guide was a friendly young woman (can’t remember her name - sorry) who was relatively new to the distillery. She was enthusiastic about Raasay but clearly loved learning and talking about whisky in general. Very friendly, welcoming, and informal in the best way. They do everything on site except for growing and peating the barley, though they plan to start growing at least some on the island in the near future. The bottling tour is a great value as you get 3 drams (2 scotch, 1 gin), and you get to see the production floor and bottling (as expected). The whisky itself is great and I personally love that they sell a distillery exclusive bottle. It’s a great souvenir to memorialize the trip, more than something you could conceivably get in your home country. Even better that it’s so good. Friendly service all around from the bartenders to the cashiers. Highly recommended.

This hotel was such a wonderful surprise for us. We stayed at five different hotels/B&Bs during our Scotland trip and this was by far our favorite. Check out the view from our room (see attached photo)! As part of our stay, we joined a complimentary tour of the attached distillery, which was very interesting! The breakfast was tasty and served in a room with an amazing view of the Isle of Skye. Overall, we were grateful to have lucked into staying at this hotel. Lastly, the ferry to the island is reliable, cheap, and easy to use. We didn't have any problems getting on or off the island, which was a concern of ours originally. It's actually a really pleasant trip across the water. We got some great pictures!

This was a fantastic distillery and well worth it. The view was amazing and it was just a short ride over a ferry to get there. The martini has no right to be as good as it was. The clothes have been good too that we bought. They also are the second gin we actually like after Iron Fish Whirlygig. Tastes like cereal milk. The whiskey is fantastic and brought us here. They brought out two new whiskeys when we got here and you bet we bought them. So amazing. We need to go back.

This was one of our best experiences during our travels to the Highlands. While we only stayed for one night, everything was exceptional. The bartender was a treat and we enjoyed everything they served us. We did a tasting of their whiskies and especially enjoyed their single malt. Their gin was a standout as well, especially when served as a gin and tonic. Both dinner and breakfast were also exceptional. Fast wifi was also a very nice addition! Don’t hesitate to add this to your list!
