When looking for photographers for our wedding day, we kept finding ourselves drawn to Rosie’s style. We loved her pictures with vast, expansive views that also were able to capture the intimacies of couples and families. We were impressed with her ability to capture beautiful pictures in multiple different types of weather and scenarios (which seems important in fickle Scottish weather!). Seeing her natural talent and ability to take INCREDIBLE photos, we asked her to photograph our wedding- including the ceremony and a day of photos at various locations around Skye. From the beginning, Rosie was always very responsive and communicative, answering any questions we had. We also really appreciated her flexibility, as we had to cancel and reschedule our wedding a year later due to extenuating circumstances. Rosie worked with us through the entire ordeal. On top of taking care of our photos, Rosie also went above and beyond and recommended other activities on Skye, including Kinloch Lodge where we chose to have our wedding dinner. She was a great support through it all! On our wedding day, Rosie knew exactly where to have us pose and how to play with the beautiful evening light at Eilean Donan. This resulted in some EPIC photos of us that we will cherish for a lifetime. The following day, Rosie took us to several local spots for photographs. We loved seeing her creativity shine. The entire day was pleasant, and Rosie helped us fall in love with Skye even more. Finally, I cannot emphasize this enough, THE PHOTOS SHE TOOK ARE AMAZING. We now have the entire portfolio and find ourselves looking through each photo multiple times per day. Multiple friends and family have commented on how amazing the photos are, and people admit to getting goosebumps when seeing Rosie’s work. We’ve also been told by multiple people that her photos should be in wedding magazines. Rosie’s talent is unmatched, and Rosie is a wonderfully kind, genuine, and truly special human. It is difficult to find the words to convey the beauty of these moments and how truly impactful Rosie has been on our lives. My husband and I thought it would be a great idea to retake our wedding photos while we were on our honeymoon in Isle of Skye and thank God we found Rosie!! There are so many options on Skye for photography, but you REALLY only need Rosie. We were there to get our engagement photos done and had spoken to plenty of photographers, but Rosie stuck out in a good way because she had the most amazing personality and energy. Leading up to the photos, she was on top of everything. We had some locations we wanted to get photos at and she was able to create a literary to hit every one of those stops as well as her own personal recommendations. She kept up with the weather and adjusted the itinerary to make sure we would get the best photos at each location. Some of the best food we ever had was through her recommendation right there on Skye. When we first met up you could really feel her excitement and energy. Spending the day with Rosie felt more like hanging out with a friend rather than just being there for business which we really appreciated. She was extremely accommodating, helped us at every single step of the way, and so knowledgable about the area. We mentioned to her that I am a huge fan of waterfalls and she managed to cram in a couple of quick stops so we can see some of the amazing waterfalls. Even with extra stops and me stopping here and there to get photos of the amazing landscape, we did not feel rushed at all. She was so attentive and patient every step of the way and we can't thank her enough for that. The final photos that we received were spectacular as well. They really captured us and the amazing scenery while getting rid of our awkwardness. These photos are a great memory of Skye and the great day we had with Rosie. She also has great taste in food. We were lucky enough to go to every place that she recommend during our trip and our outlook on food had changed forever. Who knew Skye had such amazing restaurants?

I had the best experience with Rosie and Woody at Love Skye Photography. I contacted them from NYC to help plan and photograph my proposal in the Isle of Skye, and they were incredibly communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. I had planned on visiting Scotland for most of my life, and had spent years planning all of the stops we would see. We sent out emails to a few photographers as we began planning our trip because we wanted to renew our vows. I felt an instant connection with Rosie, who put up with me a YEAR ahead of our trip. By the end of our day my husband agreed that Skye was our place, and our experiences with Rosie shaped the entire trip into something special. She worked with us, helped me arrange a surprise ring for my spouse, and the photos were pure magic. Going back to the area will be like greeting an old friend, one I surely miss!
