We came here twice, which must say something, although the second time was to walk round to secluded Reraig beach. It's now a long way off the beaten track, so best taken in along with Strome Castle and a walk in the area.

It said wildlife park but it's actually a bench with amazing view facing the loch. It's quiet and when it was sunny, it's pretty cozy sitting there while the wind blows on your face.

This place is the most peaceful and beautiful place in the world. Bring a picnic and binoculars. There are seals on the rocks in the sea, lots of wildlife around and peace for the soul. Walk to Reraig forest from here where there is a herd of red deer and a wonderful ranger called Colin who looks after them and is generous with his time and a lovely and knowledgeable man to talk to.

Fantastic views, parking space for about 6 cars. No camping or sleeping in vehicles is allowed.

Excellent views of Loch Carron and surrounds. Sat here for 2 minutes when we spotted two porpoises swimming past, about 100m from shore. Also saw a red squirrel running across the road. Adjacent house is called Otter Cottage, but we didn't see an otter.
