Thank you, John and Sue, for being the perfect hosts. The castle exceeded our expectations and we all had a fantastic time exploring the castle and finding out about its unique history.

What a fantastic place! John and Sue were lovely hosts and made sure we were very welcomed and settled. The castle is superb and we all had a great time just roaming the halls and enjoying the sunlit rooms. The wood fired hot tub was used and enjoyed on a daily basis, as was the fabulous hot tub. Would highly recommend and would definitely return! Thank you John and Sue x

Absolutely class place to stay. Brilliant grounds to walk around on, it was a fun surprise to find a rope swing! The castle is good fun exploring for the first time. There is a few fireplaces and a piano, so if your like me it's easy to keep entertained. The Pool table is okay, none of the cues have any tips on them so if Ur serious bout pool bring your own cues!

Booked Colliston for my husbands 40th. Had the castle from Fri to check out Mon. Absolutely fantastic experience! Had the whole castle booked, not just a wing/section. Fri night I had a chef in for my guests, kitchen is well stocked, so the chef used the appliances and anything else he required for cooking/serving. 7 bedrooms with multiple beds in some rooms, so plenty of space for guests to reside. 2 huge living rooms to entertain in but we kept ourselves to the one, as it was enough for all the guests to sit comfortably in. Real wood fires with plenty of wood provided by the owners to see us through the weekend. 2 luxury bedrooms have ensuites but plenty of bathrooms for the other guests to use. Water pressure in the showers were fantastic! Got to be the cosiest castle ever! You would never guess that you were in a building 100's of years old. The owners went above and beyond. From a freshly baked cake on arrival, to maintaining communication through out the weekend, asking if I required the heating on earlier or informing me that there was no need to check out early on the Mon, if I wished for a later check out. So many special memories made this weekend, absolutely fantastic experience had by all. I would highly recommend!

Amazing place! So much history and the owners are the sweetest couple in the world! They really want every person that comes through the Castle to enjoy it as much as they do! Can't wait to come back!

16 friends + 1 wonderful castle = a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Loved curling up in the old formal dining room (we called it the yellow room) with my book and fire in the woodstove. Couldn't believe we never ran out of hot water! Learned to cook on a hob and use the Aga. The owners are wonderful. A great time was had by all
