Lovely coffee shop with very helpful staff and a huge range of coffees and hot chocolate. Genuinely my favourite coffee shop of all time

Came across this little place by chance on a family visit. Coming from Wellington (NZ) I’m used to great coffee brewed well and served in the best way. Here I was not disappointed! The coffee shop is a front for a roasting business that supplies locally. They take a pride in their choice of beans and roasts them to perfection. My Long Black (a short double shot Americano) came at just the right temperature ( ready to drink!), with a crema and with a strength that would keep you going for a few hours. In fact I returned later with family and their flat white and cappuccinos were also expertly made and tasty. In this sleepy small town this place shines like a jewel. They serve a few tasty cakes and sandwiches and also sell bags of coffee beans and coffee making equipment. You can sit at one of the few tables or have your coffee “to go”. Definitely a place to seek out for the best brews in the area!

As a regular visitor to Thornbury for work I’ve visited every cafe and chain in town trying to find the best cup of coffee. BCC have the best tasting authentic, rich, smooth tasting coffee by far. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to answer questions, they’re also very friendly and make you feel really welcome. Lots of delicious treats on offer too. I won’t go anywhere else. A credit to the town.

Great coffee. Fantastic atmosphere. Fair prices. Independent. Why would you not go here over Costa (e.g. coca cola) or Greggs! Will be returning on my bi-weekly appointment trips to Thornbury.

Best coffee in town. Amazing cakes. Staff is always welcoming you with a smile and good chat. Espresso priced the way it should be! I always plan a coffee stop when I am around! Highly recommended!

If you love coffee, this is the place to visit. Great coffee everytime and very friendly staff. Also can buy coffee in beans and grains. Some wonderful selections from around the world.

Stopped here for a tea and a treat and it was well worth the visit - prices are very reasonable for sitting in and the cake was delicious - whilst working in Thornbury (hopefully only temporarily) I am making my way round all the different cafes and finding it very interesting Keep up the good work
