First time using this retailer and the experience was brilliant. The owner Steve was more than happy to help and posted the items out quickly. I placed the order late on a Friday afternoon expecting dispatch Monday but he bothered to go to the post office on Saturday morning so I got the items really quickly. Definitely recommend.

I have a very old Cross pen, 20yrs+, which I recently found in the back of a drawer. Despite contacting Cross themselves together with some 7 or 8 other refill suppliers - no luck, then I spoke to Steve at Penbox, joy of joys. Whilst Steve did not have anything to hand at the shop, he told me that he does have a secondary stock at home consisting of the not so current items. Fantastic help and information with ref to changing the size of leads for a Waterman pencil from .5ml to .7ml. Drilled out by hand using a 1ml bit . Now the leads do not break !! Again thanks for the help and also the purchase of roller ball refills for a Waterman pen that are medium point not fine. I will be back. Penbox had the best price I could find for a Waterman Carène stub nib unit. Steve replied promptly to my initial query, and once the order was placed the item arrived quickly (and in the largest Jiffy bag I've ever seen!). Nib writes like a dream... it's just a pity I don't! Bought another pen today. As usual plenty of good advice and a good deal to be had. Will definitely be back in the future when funds allow.

I visited the Pen Box to enquire about getting a replacement nib for my Pelikan pen. The shop was out of stock of fine nibs due to uncontrollable issues with supply.
