Very professionally organised, from the schedule to the wonderful group of women that I met!! A fabulous weekend in an idyllic location with a variety of activities. Absolutely no pressure to participate, very relaxed atmosphere all weekend, comfortable accommodation….. fantastic food….vegetarian and wow was it tasty and inspiring from a very happy carnivore. It was an amazing opportunity to try new things, both experiences and food and meet people from around the country. So much laughter, shared life lessons and handy tips….. Emma herself is beautiful inside & out and works tirelessly to give everyone of her guests an experience.

I have attended several of Emma’s events (online, day, weekend) and have LOVED every one. The locations she chooses are so beautiful, you never want to leave! All activities are paced well and professionally organised. You are thoroughly looked after from arrival to departure, not wanting for anything, nothing is too much trouble. Not only does Emma have the best hosting skills, her cooking is out-of-this-world amazing! So so so delicious. I will book again and can’t wait to go again!

I had a wonderful time on the yoga, SUP and gin tasting weekend. All the activities were well organised. Emma very calmly rejigged the programme when a thunder storm caused our planned SUP session to be cancelled as we were about to get on the water. The group was just the right size and it felt ok to take time out alone to relax or to join others for chat and laughs. The alpaca walk with Kath was a treat. Hazel Brow House is in a beautiful location, fantastic views from the terrace and most bedrooms. My bedroom was very spacious and comfortable with a huge 4 poster bed and adjacent bathroom with large, free standing bath and walk in shower. Emma is a great host and cooked us really delicious vegetarian food from scratch. The gin tasting was informative with generous measures of 4 locally produced gins. I will definitely be checking out next year's offerings. Highly recommended 👌

Emma is a most wonderful host, and our recent retreat with Emma's Dale in the French Alps was no exception. We walked, laughed, ate, slept (very well) in a most beautiful chalet, alongside white water rafting, a fabulous spa afternoon, bike riding, yoga and lots of relaxing with a good book and amazing views to die for. This is the third experience I have done with Emma's Dale, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend booking an activity/ retreat break with Emma. To sum it up if you enjoy the outdoors, beautiful accommodation and nourishing food alongside exciting activities such as white water rafting, SUP, wild swimming, hot tubbing and more (often new experiences for me) then booking a stay with Emma is a must. (Equally you can opt out of experiences and just chill, which I have also done!) I have always travelled with a friend, but would also be really confident to join a retreat on my own with what I have always found to be a group of friendly like minded people. Emma is a wonderful host, a wonderful cook, she is flexible, friendly and utterly charming, and the retreats are always well priced for the wonderful experience you will have with Emma's Dale. Emma's retreats are a 5* experience and more.

Had a fantastic time at Emmas Dale SUP, Yoga, Alpaca walking & Gin Tasting weekend retreat. Attention to detail & planning were exceptional, as the weather hampered the first day’s activities but Emma managed to re-arrange our SUP & yoga sessions, so we were able to still do everything as originally planned & an unplanned SUP yoga session which was brilliant! We had a lovely friendly group some solo attendees (like me), but you quickly were made to feel part of the group. The Alpacas were friendly & enjoyed walking with us. Emma’s food & presentation is amazing, the Gin tasting was great & informative, I loved all of it. Would definitely recommend Emma’s Dale activity Retreats, thanks Emma & looking forward to joining you again on my next one xx

Had an amazing 4 nights in the French Alps. Loved the white water rafting, hiking, mountain biking, yoga and vegetarian cookery school. Beautiful place to stay, food, and wine, was delicious. The setting was perfect. Nikki and her team was so friendly. Emma's hospitality and organisation was second to none. I will certainly be booking another adventure with Emma's Dale soon.

Absolutely fantastic! Would highly recommend Emma’s retreats. I went to Italy this year and loved it. Perfect balance of activities and down time to relax and the food was delicious. We were so well looked after and I will definitely be booking again in the future. Thank you Emma ❤️

The perfect combo of adventure and taking care of yourself in the most beautiful converted barn in the French Alps. Emmas flexible itinerary was the right balance of action and relaxation with just enough free time and heaps of delicious food and wine. Now I’ve discovered your retreats I don’t think it would be possible to find a better one. Can’t wait till the next one!
