Visited
here
with
friends
after
a
great
walk
in
the
Peak
District
-
you
can
imagine
we
were
quite
keen
for
a
sit
down,
a
drink,
and
some
grub.
Not
long
afterwards,
we
were
keen
to
leave.
As
we
were
shown
to
our
table,
the
lady
got
very
short
with
my
friend
as
he
moved
a
chair
out
of
the
way.
She
then
seemed
angry
that
I
didn't
want
food
(my
friends
did,
I
just
wanted
a
pint
and
a
slice
of
cake).
As
she
seemed
genuinely
annoyed
at
me
I
did
not
press
the
matter
about
the
cake
and
thought
I'd
wait
until
after
my
friends
had
eaten
their
mains.
She
clearly
forgot
about
my
pint
as
my
friend
asked
another
(lovely)
member
of
staff
to
get
me
one
when
their
food
arrived
(I'm
far
too
socially
awkward
to
do
this
myself).
The
lady
returned
intermittently
to
be
noisy
and
interfere
with
people's
dogs.
She
gave
some
food
to
my
friend's
dog
without
asking.
The
food
itself
looked
pretty
substandard.
My
friends
informed
me
it
was
not
nice.
I
did
not
bother
ordering
a
slice
of
cake
at
this
point
as
we
just
wanted
to
leave.
All
in
all
it
was
a
genuinely
unpleasant
experience
that
took
away
from
an
otherwise
lovely
day.
