Delicious lunch with a beautiful view! We raced to get here before they closed because we'd heard such good things and it was so worth it. We had the lobster roll, fish & chips and x2 halloumi rolls. They were so tasty and very generous portions. The 2 ladies serving us were so lovely and it was nice to meet people who were genuinely enthusiastic and glad to be there. Definitely make this a stopover whilst on the NC500. Bonus review: once you come off the bridge turn left towards the Kylesku Hotel because there is a beautiful view of the loch and the peaks

Lovely freshly prepared food We had the lobster roll which was generously filled, venison and mozzarella ciabatta and a fish and chips (split for a 3yo and 5yo to share). There are a few seats and we got lucky and had a bench - great food with a great view! Came back a few days later and had the burger and scallops! They were also great.

Outstandingly scenic food van serving restaurant standard dishes, had the venison& mozzarella ciabatta and scallops and both were fantastic. We came back a few days later we liked it that much. Take cash and card (handy in these parts). Portions were decent , a must stop if going past and open!

This Surf and Turf Takeaway was located in the first lay-by as you travel north after the Kylesku Bridge. The location itself would draw you in as the views from the bridge are amazing. I had fish and chips and it was absolutely delicious. You can also get tea/coffee if you want. It was quite busy as this is part of the North Coast 500 and it is a popular drive round the coast. I would certainly recommend stopping if you need some sustenance. There are no facilities here they are in Kylesku village beside the old ferry slipway.

You simply won’t find a better, tastier burger… hadn’t read any of the reviews before getting here and didn’t really have any expectation.. but we were blown away with the quality, taste and size of our meal. And the ladies serving us were polite and very helpful. The views from the lay-by are also stunning
