Lovely place to stay. Peaceful and relaxing. Hot tub very welcome after a day of walking.

Fantastic cottage in a lovely rural location. Owner very friendly and a lovely welcome pack of milk, bread, local apple juice, biscuits and tea, coffee. Nightingale is very spacious, with upside down living and a hot tub on the verandah. Family loved using it as did we!! The bedrooms are spacious and can be made into 2 x twin rooms and king master. All ensuite, powerful showers and plenty of towels. TVs in all bedrooms too which was good. All in all 4 bathrooms so if you have 6 people, plenty of room. Loved the rural location; we saw hares, partridge, pheasants and turkeys. Lovely fields of wheat and barley too. Would totally recommend this location if visiting York, Whitby etc. Didn't disappoint us and would definitely coke again.

We stayed at the Nightingale Cottage with our 2 young boys over half term and it was a perfect break! The cottage, people and location are all perfect! The cottage had everything you could possibly think of/ need for a break and the hot tub was great! Would highly recommend. We will definitely be returning!

We stayed in Barn Owl cottage..... delightful place, very c!ean, 3 cottage courtyard, on a working farm, but fairly quiet. The hot tub was nicely private, we were in it on our first night, saw loads of star clusters plus a shooting star. Bonus!!

Stayed in nightingale cottage, absolutely beautiful, very large cottage with everything that you need, home to home feel , beautiful cottage with an amazing hot tub , will definitely be back , owner was very helpful and welcoming

This was a great relaxing holiday. Cottage was clean and tidy with everything you could need. A great central location for the city or the beach. Situated in a lovley part of the countryside. Will recommend.

Lovely cottage, done to perfect effect, and the hot tub is perfect. Just a couple miles to a small village with all the amenities you need with kebab,pizza, Chinese, Indian restaurants and a chip shop.

Lovely cottage absolutely every need catered for especially the hot tub. Will be visiting again cannot recomend highly enough
