Went here to watch my granddaughter dance. It's a modern theatre with a light airy feel. There is a cafe/bar and plenty of outdoor seating in the courtyard should you arrive early. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Went to watch the teach-rex and it was absolutely brilliant!! The staff at the theater were on point! They changed our seats as the kids couldn't see the stage and were really helpful! The show itself was 10/10 honestly could of asked for a better performance!

First time taking my son who is on the spectrum. He absolutely loved it and was so well behaved. We all absolutely loved it. Definitely a yearly family event. Brilliant staff and all round brilliant theatre.

The Lawrence Batley Theatre is a good place to experience live theatre. It's conveniently located in the centre of Huddersfield, about 10 minutes' walk from the train station. Outside, there's a nice courtyard with tables and seating, for a pre-show drink. There's a nice bar inside, too. The auditorium is impressive: the seating, on three levels, is comfortable, with excellent views and acoustics. The staff, especially front-of-house and box office, are friendly and helpful.

Played the Summer In The Courtyard, a great time. Good atmosphere, good cask beers from the theatre bar and people dancing. On Friday and Saturdays throughout the summer.
