It was February 2018 when I started experiencing early signs of dementia, which were caused by sudden drop of B12 vitamin and iron in my body (Pernicious Anaemia). I had more new symptoms every day, which was scary for me and my close ones. I have read tons of stuff on the internet and everyone recommended acupuncture. I went to Yakushi Centre with 3 sessions to try and after the first session I have been crying for the whole day. Richard said that it was stress release. He helped me to go through this fight. Together with acupuncture sessions, yoga, meditation and B12 shots I dragged myself out of that scary illness and I am active, healthy and lively again. Since that time I made a good practice to have acupuncture session once a week as it distresses my body, adds energy and makes me love my life even more. Recently I discovered a new treatment for myself: facial acupuncture. Richard's sessions have worked miracles on me! I recommend his services to everyone who cares about their health and wellbeing.

On Tuesday I had my first ever session of Acupuncture at Yakushi Healing Centre 💉 Richard was fantastic. He was very understanding when I explained my situation & he was brilliant with the acupuncture experience. It was an incredible experience, I felt so comfortable, relaxed, & in just a few days I can already feel the benefits. I've suffered with chronic pain on a daily basis since the birth of my son Leo which has resulted in lack of libido, depression & anxiety. After a traumatic birth I had a forceps delivery, lost a lot of blood & had third degree tearing so I was taken straight into theatre for an internal episiotomy. I've been prescribed so many different pills & ointments & been referred to specialist consultants who cannot find anything wrong despite me suffering constant nerve pain. They have said I have #Vulvodynia which Richard researched into before my appointment so he could help give me the best treatment. I'm already starting to feel like I've got my life back on track thanks to the help from Richard.

People can be sceptical about alternative medicine but the results speak for themselves. I don't imagine that this type of medicine works for every condition but for my bad back and pulled muscle in my thigh which was causing me a lot of pain it helped immensely. Before the treatment I could barely walk a mile without being in pain, but after the treatment I was back to walking 10 miles with my walking group and the pain is now manageable and some days I have no pain at all which is a great relief. Richard, who is a friendly and understanding practitioner, listened to my concerns and comes across as a very knowledgeable and professional man. He used a combination of acupuncture, massage and aromatherapy to work on me. His prices are reasonable (and possibly the cheapest in the area) and you get a personal service. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Richard for any treatment.

I just want to say a massive thank you to Richard, for making me feel so comfortable which enabled me to open my mind to the art of the possible. He offers a friendly but professional service and he is very knowledgeable which helped me be at ease. When it came to acupuncture to help me with my fertility issues. I attended a consultation yesterday accompanied by a session. I was so fearful as I have a low pain threshold and didn't really know what to expect. But he quickly put my mind at ease, explained everything to me and made me feel very comfortable- and i felt no pain 😇. I can't wait to book in more sessions and fingers crossed that acupuncture works for me.👍

I had my second treatment today. Acupuncture and a back massage by Richard. Richard puts you totally at ease and is amazing at what he does. I had relief on the first treatment and today my lower back already feels better. I would thoroughly recommend. Richard is brilliant.

Richard has a wonderful energy allowing him the capability to put you instantly at ease and this, coupled with his phenomenal healing ability, meant that I saw quite drastic results after just one treatment with him. I loved that he looked for a solution to the problem and worked with me to fix it, rather than than just providing a temporary relief. His aim is to help you to feel better long term and when you have dealt with a long term, or ongoing painful condition, such as Trigeminal Neuralgia, that's music to your ears! I felt very relaxed, supported and cared for during my acupuncture treatments and I have a great confidence in Richard's ability.

I had a relaxing full body massage with Tracey at the Ilkeston studio today, it was fabulous! She really worked on my knots and I feel less tense and more relaxed! Will definitely be booking again! Thank you Tracey!
