The choice for dinner tonight was Somali. Trying their cuisine for the first time, I can taste the similarities with the Yemeni one. Given the geographical proximity and the historical influence, it's no wonder why. All I can say is that it was a pleasant surprise. Everything was perfect. Also despite the big portion the food was light, a mark of proper chef work, not a grill flipper. Cherry on the top, price was very reasonable. Bottom line highly recommended 👌

Amazing restraunt. First time eating at a Somalian restraunt and I'm impressed. The food is delicious, portion sizes are great at an amazin price. Definitely will recommend to friends and families.

This was the first time we went to a Somalian restaurant. We had Somalian dishes before and we are aware of the rich flavours. The restaurant served delicious dishes. The samosas, the buffalo wings, salmon and the Somalian rice was excellent. Service and employees were also amazing. This is a 5 star experience that I recommend to everyone! ⭐️5

Visited this place with little expectations as I've never tried Somali food, did not disappoint! Delicious, flavoursome food; really enjoyed the lamb platter. Great service too 👏  would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

They absolutely deserve all the 5-star reviews. Without a doubt, it's the best food I've had in the northwest. The front of house was incredibly friendly, and the portion sizes were very generous. The rice was cooked perfectly, and the beef suqaar platter was exquisitely seasoned. I'll definitely be returning for more.

So, let me tell you about Hooyo's spot on Derby Street. This place is a hidden gem! The customer service there is on point! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They make you feel like family as soon as you walk through the door. Plus, the food there is absolutely amazing.

I don’t usually do reviews but this place deserves the highest of praises. Went in to try the food and it was 10/10. I had the beef suqaar and chips, half chicken and rice, and wings. Every dish was very tasty and unique. Bolton is full of similar food but this was very unique. Definitely going to come more often
