First time going in today and having my hair cut. Can not fault my stylist Chloe. Fantastic consultation and the cut is exactly how I wanted it. Will definitely be going back for colour and next cut.

Im doing a level 2 beauty therapy course, which is all funded! Ideal to complete next to work as its on one day a week in term times, so perfect for parents too. The course content is pretty good. All the teachers are very friendly and supportive, would definitely recommend for someone whos looking to change careers and learn the basics

I am doing the level 2 barbering course and I love it! All the teachers are great and soo understandable too. Would definitely recommend anyone looking to do any hairdressing, beauty or barbering courses to have a look at their website.

Booked a refresher cutting course here for returning back to work after covid and maternity breaks. Really enjoyed it, the Tutor, Sarah, was very knowledgeable and helpful and really put me at ease. I booked another session for the following week to take me through colouring again as I found the cutting one so helpful. Just what I was after and well worth the 2 hours drive! Thankyou for making returning to work less daunting!

Sarah is a brilliant teacher, and the 1 to 1 really helped boost my confidence to start getting into a salon. Would definitely recommend the course.

Been here twice, once as a hair model and once as a makeup model in 2022. I believe the teaching material is quite dated as the students didn’t know how to work with curly hair or with darker skin tones for makeup. It is also evident because the students hesitate to choose models that fall into these categories and only use it as a last resort. Ended up being made to look like a clown when I modelled and was so embarrassed to even walk to my car with that face! I did however offer my personal advice and review to those students and how they can improve and they were so grateful and told me that they weren’t taught those things at this place. Edit: Yes, I’m sure I’ve been here as I’ve been here twice and drove past Dunelm to your car park. Please take ownership and improve your teaching for your students’ sake, so they can shine wherever they go in the future. OFQUAL material states that you need to teach students about different hair types and skin tones and how to work with them but your students I encountered clearly had no clue. If your students haven’t reported on my ‘experience’ it may be because you haven’t created a comfortable environment for them to openly talk about criticism or question your basic status quo. Why don’t you ask your students what kind of model they’d choose for their assessments and see what they say?

I have always been so interested in beauty therapy and I have now joined the level 2 beauty therapy course and absolutely love it! Everyone I have spoken to at the school has been so friendly and welcoming. My tutor is also so supportive and patient which really helps when you’re learning something new! It also really helps to be taught by someone who has worked in the beauty field and who has so much knowledge and experience in it. Despite having a class of 10 you still get so much one to one training and even when you’re not in class the tutors and admin team are so happy to help you with anything you need. The teaching is honestly so thorough and it’s so surprising how much you learn in each lesson. I would 100% recommend this school to anyone, wish I had done this sooner!
