The best decision we have made in a very long time to purchase a static caravan from York House Leisure at Swaleside. A great park with very friendly owners. But the stars of the show are definitely Andrew and Amanda the park managers who couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. As 1st time owners we will be ever indebted to them both for their help and assistance. Many thanks John and Sandra. ps the fishing is a bonus.

We love coming up to Swaleside, it’s our favourite place to be. The setting by the river is beautiful. Gretchen and Barry do a great job looking after everything. They always have a smile and are approachable if you need help.

I am most pleased to write a review of Swaleside Country Park. The park is situated ideally for trips into the Yorkshire Dales and Moors and is situated 6 minutes drive from jnct 49 of the A1. The park is located on the edge of the village of Topcliffe and sits by the banks of the River Swale. The beautiful location is enhanced by the hard work of the management team (Gretchen and Barry) who work tirelessly to maintain the attractive appearance of the site.Gretchen and Barry are very approachable and friendly. They work hard to ensure the smooth running of the site and the relaxed experience for the residents. We always look forward to our visits and enjoy the 'all year round' availability of the site. My wife and I would recommend Swaleside, wholeheartedly, to any prospective clients.

We visited Swaleside Country Park with a view to buying a holiday home. It was the first time we've visited a Maguiars Country Parks. The site was idyllic and extremely well kept including the reception area. Gretchen and Barry couldn't do enough for us and showed us several options available and walked us around the park showing us all area including the dog exercise area etc. We did find a suitable caravan and if it wasn't for the fact we since decided to purchase a residential lodge at another Meguiars Park we would definitely have bought here. Lovely peaceful site, Gretchen &Barry are perfect managers always willing to help if needed. The site is kept immaculate! Barry goes above and beyond to keep it looking so pretty. A lovely clean peaceful, bolt hole beside the river .

Barry and Gretchen work very hard to keep Swaleside in pristine condition. Even the edges of the grass are perfect! Both are lovely people, very approachable and friendly managers. Its got to be the best park in North Yorkshire.

We were shown around by Gretchen at Swaleside who genuinely couldn't have done more both in terms of her professionalism and her knowledge of the area and the lodges on site. Her rapport with the those on the site was very evident . The cleanliness and amenities on the site combined with its location means it offers a wonderful escape from the business of modern life . For us while we are currently looking at buying another bricks and mortar home, when it comes to looking at lodges again , Swaleside will be a natural default. Thank you, Gretchen and team
