This is a great owner run restaurant. The three course meal was well presented and thought out. The ingredients are locally sourced and the food was tasty. Loved the atmosphere and personal attentive service offered. Well done, keep it up.

An absolute find - the best of Mull food - carefully, thoughtfully and skillfully constructed with beautiful flavours, and plenty of surprises from the foraged ingredients. Very friendly reception, perfect service, and a gem of a dining experience. If you value food, I can't recommend more highly.

Never liked mushroom but today i discovered a new love for chanterelle mushrooms and it can only be because they were beautifully cooked. Food was amazing as always if not better ! Loved it so much I had to clean my plate with my homemade bread. If you visit i hope you are lucky for them to have the amazing chocolate cake on the day. Its a must try!

Fantastic evening at Ar Bord last Thursday (28th April 2022). Friendly, knowledgeable hosts in a unique setting - their home. Very relaxed setting, I love mismatched furniture, crockery etc always seems more fun. The food was amazing from the amuse bouche to start right through to the coffee. Well done both absolutely brilliant 👏

It made a nice change to eat out somewhere that was offering something a bit different. A very warm welcome awaits and a comfortable homely environment. Very good food, lovely service. Pretty big portions (we thought)...come with a decent appetite if you can...and bring your own booze.

So unique and the food, including locally foraged ingredients was delicious. Would recommend to anyone and everyone, a hidden gem that I will return to the Isle of Mull for. The crab soup that you see in the cup in one of the photo's, if there's a soup I had to commit to for the rest of my life, this would be it.

Had the most outstanding dinner here last night.All courses were just superb. If ever your nearby Devaig you really must try and book yourself a table here...but do book in advance you will see why after your first visit.Think they only serve Thursday,Friday and Saturday.and maximum 12 diners.But Wow Iain serves up a culinary treat that is for absolute sure. And the servers are brilliant to.Thanks Ar bord you really made our stay on Mull.Just so different and so outstanding. 👏👏👏👏

The best dining experience we had on Mull. You'd never know it was a restaurant from the outside and the quality of the food is would be fitting of a far grander setting. Really imaginative and tasty food, different to anything else I had on the island, yet very much locally sourced. Pity I didn't get better photos of the food - I was too busy eating!
