Mark at Pedal Barn is quite simply a true gentleman! I placed an order with him for a Van Nicholas Skeiron after a very lengthy telephone conversation. He gave a lot of useful information about the different types of bike that VN produce and we discussed what I was looking for from my next purchase. After making a decision (which was the hardest part of the whole process), I placed an order for the Skeiron. The bike was shipped from the Netherlands the next day and was delivered to Pedal Barn approximately a week later. Mark kept me up to date with the progress and have to say that was a nice touch! I travelled from Norwich to Pedal Barn to collect the bike and got to meet Mark for the first time. He made me feel incredibly welcome and again we chatted about bikes (and drank coffee) for some considerable time. Mark takes great care to treat his customers with a first class service that is literally second to none. If you’re thinking of making a purchase from Pedal Barn and in particular if you’re in the market for a titanium Van Nicholas, then I highly recommend Mark at Pedal Barn. Walked up to Pedal Barn - Mark stopped what he was doing, gave me all the right parts and even took the time to help me fit them so that I could get back home before it was too late. Truly phenomenal service and care. Thank you so much!

Base Ambition - get a new eBike at a competitive price......done, as keen as any other local price. Hope - Get excellent service, free local delivery and support at the end of the line/email - done too. Ideal - Avoid paying a single £ more for it - very much done. Great service and assistance from Mark at the Pedal Barn when my EBCO MH-5 electric bike started playing up by cutting out whilst being ridden. I had already taken the 3 year old bike to another electric bike specialist in Cambridge who charged me £80 for a "diagnosis" but was unable to fix the fault, blaming faulty components for the problem. Mark at Pedal barn however worked methodically through the possible causes and after liaising with the manufacturers, fixed the issue for me at a very reasonable price. Mark went over and above in terms of service as he took the bike out personally for long rides on two occasions in order to test it thoroughly. For all the above reasons the above 5 star review is fully merited deserved and I have no hesitation in recommending him and Pedal Barn for their professional services. Don't waste time and money with anyone else !

I turned up just as Mark was opening up with a broken gear cable on my touring bike. Marks first concern was getting me back on the road and went straight to work on it, replacing the cable and then the outers because it didn't feel like it was shifting smoothly. Ended up fitting a new rear derailleur for me and now my bike shifts like a dream, so smooth, just like new. Mark went above and beyond, top guy and superb bike mechanic, if I lived locally he would be my go to guy. Highly rated and recommended.

Really helpful, I had no idea what bike I wanted just that after many years away from being on a bike I wanted to go cycling with my children, I now have an affordable, easy to ride , lightweight bike that I’m over the moon with and am looking forward to getting out and about !
