Such a lovely place. Found prints and books of when were growing up. Love how they have categorized the books. Love the smell of all the books. I am mesmerized with the untold history they hold between the pages. Please visit and but from this store. We still need to support print books.

This is a four-decade-old Bookshop in Inverness and keeping aside the architecture this shop is not worth the hype. I have visited lots of second-hand bookshops where we get the books at a cheap rate but here you won't find books at a cheap rate. I'm talking about contemporary paperback and hardcover books and not some super old hardback books. You can save lots of money by searching on the internet, eBay while browsing through books otherwise your pocket is going to tear. The architecture of the shop is great and we only see this kind of architecture in pictures these days. You can click some classy pictures but I won't recommend buying books from here.

Loved this book haven, and couldn't possibly leave without buying a book or three, two postcards and a tote bag! It was busy with tourists, look forward to returning during the quieter months.

I enjoyed browsing this old used book shop. It had a cozy and nostalgic smell that I loved. Unlike some other book shops that are cramped and stuffy, this one had enough space to walk around and explore. I found some great books at reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes old books.

Family owned business. Great location. Love the smell of old books. A local attraction. You can also order books online. Very professional. The owners son was very helpful finding a first edition book not found out on the shelves but kept in the back. Always ask if they have a particular book. A vintage store with tons of old world charm.

What a place. The collection and the entire atmosphere is simply amazing. There was a fireplace in the middle of the shop and it was like a time travel back to the past.

An absolute must if you're in Inverness. I could have spent several more hours here but we arrived only 45 min before closing. My suitcase was heavy af on the way home bc of this place 🤣

More than simply a bookshop, this is one of Inverness' premier tourist destinations, certainly if the browsers, bookworms and generally curious who were there during my visit were anything to go by! A huge travel section, fantasy, sci-fi, gardening and classics- it's all here. Just be prepared to spend a bit of time searching!
