What a beautiful hidden gem of a beach! We actually only went here as the car park was National Trust so free to us. We're so glad we went, it's a long, unspoilt stretch of beauty! and even though when we were there it was quite windy, there were some sheltered spots and we spent a good few hours just sitting and enjoying the sunshine and views. There are some toilets in the car park, but no other facilities at all...but then that's part of its charm, and resulted in only a handful of people being there when we were. Loved it, and will return for sure!

An lovely coastal walk with amazing views. We parked at the National Trust Carne beach car park, headed up the hill and through a gate off the road. Some of the path is a little overgrown in places and I did get stung a few times by nettles but it was still an enjoyable walk. It started to rain just as we reached a little village so walked the road way back as the path would be muddy when wet.

Great beach, but sadly let down by the mens toilet being out of order, and there being no other amenities save for an ice-cream van. It is a useless location to park for the Coastal Path

Awesome beach and a great cup of coffee from the little trailer in the car park. The cakes are amazing as well, especially the blondie.

Carne and Pendower beaches both very pretty and usually not too packed, you need to drive to Carne beach to get to the Pendower car park, both car parks are national trust so good if you are a member. Both have loo's but no bins so take your rubbish home with you. Carne beach has a little mobile cafe and Pendower one thatvis a bit more substantial. Perfect for paddle boards if the tide is right.

Great beaches. Shallow warm seas which slope very gently. Carne has great rockpools to the far left. The tide goes out a long way, so the beach is huge when it's out! The surf is minimal (head to the North coast if that's your thing). There are small car parks at the rear of both beaches with toilets. They are quick to fill up on warm summer days so be early. Carne has a café van in the car park selling tea/coffee, snacks, cakes and ice-cream (Thirstea company??) which is great, the proprietor is charming and the cakes and local ice-cream are very very good, not cheap mind. The roads to the beach are very narrow once past Veryon and can be busy, again be early! We love them, great beaches for kids and adults.

Lovely beach, small national trust car park inc toilets. Small unit seliing teas etc only open 10 -3pm . To get to this beach you have to drive along narrow country lanes. But well worth the trip.
