Stopped by whilst on our Honeymoon. We were very well looked after by the staff, they made sure everything was perfect and were very lovely and chatty. Even though it was very busy and the place pretty much filled up about 5 mins after we sat down (we were the first ones in) we never felt rushed for time which was good. The food was stunning! Little pricey but it was worth every penny. My husband and I were blown away by how tasty it was, I think it's ruined scallops anywhere else for us now 😂. You can really tell how fresh it is. We can't recommend this place enough 🎣❤️

The BEST seafood lunch I've ever had across the country. We went in after reviewing the reviews and WHAT A SWEET GEM. We ordered langoustines, wild brown trout and haddock fish and chips. My oh my they were so fresh, so well cooked and so delicious that my mother was fighting with me on the dishes 😂. The service was extremely friendly and noble too as he was advising us against ordering too much since we were under time pressure. Thank you for being amazing and I'll strongly recommend this to anyone who's in the area!

Extremely glad we stopped here from the Jacobite Train. Food was phenomenal, filling and worth the money! Be prepared to put the time in if you are doing the Jacobite experience, as well as wait. But it is worth every bit of it!

Craig is a fantastic host and a tourist attraction in himself. Super attentive and a joy to chat with. The chef’s were lovely too! We ordered the lentil broth. Langoustine and chicken schnitzel. All absolutely gorgeous. Washed down with excellent local ales. Couldn’t recommend this gem more!

Without words! Super-fresh & delicious seafood 🦞, great hospitality, very friendly and charismatic owner. I would give 6 stars if that was possible 👍. The atmosphere is so cosy and the menu so great you just want to eat on and on and on!! Especially lobster isn’t particularly cheap but worth every penny!

We really enjoyed this dinner at Mallaig. The seafood was perfectly cooked and the soups went past over our expectations. Wish we lived nearer and could come back to try the crab. For dessert we ordered Sticky toffee pudding and it tasted fabulous. The waiter was very cheerful and attentive. It's a small restaurant with no reservations so be sure to be there early if u want to get a table (they close early) :)

Probably the tastiest fish and chips I've ever had. The service was great and the lady taking my order asked if I'd like Hake, rather than Haddock. I love Hake so I'm glad it was offered and shows the benefits of a restaurant in a fishing village as they flex to the catch of the day. A short wait later and my order was called and we sat in the harbour and ate beautifully cooked hake that was grease-free with a sumptuous golden batter and superb chips. Literally couldn't recommend more highly.

Visited for lunch as we noticed it was very quiet when passing. ( we were advised it was a first come basis, in evenings & can be very busy) Friendly warm welcome, drinks served & time given to choose from menu. The food was excellent, including desserts! Now, a point to note! The cost of drinks in this area is fairly high. So, be aware when ordering. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with fantastic service!
