Lovely
walk
to
a
tropical,
secluded
beach.
The
small
parking
area
is
at
the
end
of
the
single
track
road,
three
and
a
half
miles
from
Arisaig.
You'll
see
the
small
boathouse
building
on
your
right
opposite
the
parking
area,
just
before
the
gate
for
the
private
road.
From
here
there's
a
stretch
of
sturdy
path
heading
to
the
farm
buildings
and
a
sign
directing
you
alongside
the
residence
to
the
beach.
From
here,
there's
a
fair
amount
of
boggy
ground
to
cover
if
there's
been
any
rain
recently,
but
it's
passable
(boots
recommended).
On
the
way
to
the
bay
you'll
have
views
to
the
North
of
the
pretty
islets
of
the
Arisaig
Skerries
with
their
own
sandy
beaches
dotted
amongst
them.
The
view
of
Port
nam
Murrach
as
you
approach
from
above
is
amazing.
Turquoise
sea
and
beautiful
white
sand
that'll
probably
be
all
to
yourselves
as
you
arrive
over
the
grassy
banks.
Look
out
for
Cowrie
shells
as
my
wife
found
one.
Well
worth
the
trip
down
and
the
occasional
muddy
areas.
