We dealt with this branch due to a house purchase. However, the process wasn't pleasant. Our solicitor gave minimum effort and made the whole process unnecessarily stressful. Highlights include: 1. Quoted the wrong purchase price in conveyance fee documents and took half a week to just correct. 2. Sent blank document templates by error (e.g. “Dear [insert client name]“ in the body of text), which is unprofessional. 3. Rarely gave updates on the progress unless I initiated the communication. 4. Sent documents in a very disorganised manner. One single batch of forms for signing was somehow sent three times via two different methods (common sense should be a single file transfer). Documents were named differently between the cover letter and the actual file, making it difficult to identify. I ended up spending an hour just to organise the documents, only to find duplicates with some key documents missing, which I needed to follow-up with, again. 5. Had a quick call to seek clarification on add-ons fees that was not present in other firms' quotes, the attitude of the solicitor reminded me of a teenager giving minimum effort to questions his mom asked. 6. The service charged a higher fee boasting its digitalised services. However, I found the overall process no different to services typically offered by other firms. There are more examples but I believe this is sufficient to express my frustration. I had high expectation and chose your service even though your fee is the highest amongst other options. At the end I didn't feel like I was treated like a client due to the lack of basic customer service and professionalism.
