We spent 10 days in the cottage Hafan, beautifully decorated, spacious, spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. The grounds are well kept and the ambience is peaceful and relaxing. Carlos, the owner, was helpful and friendly, nothing was to much trouble. Our dog loved his walks around the gardens and the lake. Totally recommended!

Having just returned from a four day break at Bryn Llys to celebrate a special family birthday had to write and review. Owner Carlo so helpful and friendly, nothing to much trouble. Could not fault our stay at all. Accommodation excellent, spacious and clean, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return, exactly as described. So peaceful, grounds are lovely to walk round and you aren’t restricted in any way. Some of our party went on Velocity 2 at the nearby Zip World and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

My first impression on arriving here was an emotional one! It was like stepping into the secret garden! Unfortunately I have had a heavy cold since being here and have hardly ventured out but what a perfect place to be unwell in! This is the perfect place to get away from our busy lives and to chill but near enough to be able to explore Llanberis, Snowdonia, Slate Museum and all the other areas of interest that are nearby! Zip World is five minutes away in the car! We had intended to explore the local area as well as enjoy the beauty of where we are staying but we will have to do that next time! The property is perfect and a lot of thought has clearly gone into it! What a lovely gesture to find milk in the fridge and a delicious cake waiting for us on our arrival! We have stayed in many places over the years but this has definitely come out on top! We were lucky enough to meet the lovely owner Carlo who was keen to make sure that we were OK. It is obvious that he has and is putting a lot of thought and work into here! I am quite fussy and I have really appreciated our first visit here even though it has been slightly ruined by being unwell. We have visited North Wales before, several times but now I am pleased that we have found the perfect place to return to over the years to come! We were gutted when our friend sold.his cottage that he had nearby but now we are happy to have come across this gem! I would highly recommend a.stay here and although we still have two nights left here I wanted to write this now before getting home and returning to work next week. This is a perfect place to come and unwind with your family and although one of our teenage sons has been home with me also unwell, the other has enjoyed walks to the Slate Museum and also Great Orme!

We were met by the perfect host. Excellent forest setting site with clean toilets. I understand showers will be available soon so will have all facilities then. I would recommend this site.

A beautifully located CL site, just outside the town of Bethesda but within easy walking distance. Each pitch is spacious, and the whole area is very tranquil. There's even a lovely little lake to walk around. The shower block is partially completed with two spotlessly clean toilets currently up and running with cold water available. It will no doubt be finished soon to provide full facilities. It's not a problem if you have your own onboard facilities. The water pressure to fill the aqua roll was excellent. 4G reception excellet. Grey and black water facilities first class. The site is very handy for exploring Snowdonia via car or if walking, the northeastern Snowdonia mountains are easily accessible, as is the Penrhyn Zipwire Experience, which is thoroughly recommended. If walking low level, the slate trail is across the road from the site entrance. The owners Carlo and Liz are accessible and very welcoming. In Bethesda itself, there are good Londis and Tesco Express stores, a cafe, and a handful of pubs. There are regular buses to Bangor and Bettws Y Coed from Bethesda. In summary, a really good little CL, in spectacular surroundings, to which we will definitely return.

This was our second visit to Bryn Llys and we were not disappointed. The Caravan was well equipped and spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 toilets and good lounge and kitchen. The site is beautifully situated with each pitch offering privacy. It is also ideally situated for trips for walking and day trips. However if all you want to do is remain on the site the gardens are beautiful and there is a gentle walk around the lake. Carlos and his family are perfect hosts. We will no doubt be returning.

Amazing accommodation. Loads of space in communal areas for large number of guest plus individual bedrooms rooms with ensuite so you also feel like you have your own space. Set in stunning grounds, lovely to walk around. Great that its dog friendly too. Its in a great location for exploring North Wales. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

Was delighted to be offered the opportunity to review Bryan Llys. We stayed on the CL site and it was beyond our expectations, the best we have ever experienced in 17 yrs of camper-vanning. Welcome was friendly and helpful and the 10 acre site was wonderfully maintained, interesting and peaceful. You can walk a nearby old railway path to Zip World and beyond which was great for us. Would definitely return if in the area again and would highly recommend to our friends and family. Well done, excellent!!
