I went into this store after taking up dress-making during lockdown after shops re-opened and they were fantastic. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and were able to advise me on various topics such as whether the patterns I'd chosen would be suitable for a beginner, and whether the fabric I chose would be easy to work with. They have a wonderful selection of indie patterns, as well as some of the more mainstream brands, and their fabric selection is gorgeous. Couldn't recommend them more.

Really lovely and helpful staff! I ordered a wedding dress from Etsy which arrived a couple of weeks before my wedding, unfortunately it was too large and I could not send it back for alteration and get it back in time. I started looking for tailors in Bristol and most could not accommodate me in such a short amount of time, but Flo-Jo did! They were really helpful and booked me in the next day. They did an amazing job altering the dress and fitting it to my shape, they also added helpful bra loops to hold the dress shoulders nicely on. I'll definitely be going back to them!

My friend and I came for individual sewing help for fitting and making trousers. Sabine is so knowledgeable and personable, we had a wonderful time and got exactly the help required. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic place with very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Have taken several items to be repaired here and have been delighted with the results. Recently bought some lovely patterned oil cloth material to cover some foldable steps for my pet rats. A highlight of the Gloucester Road.

Team were extremely friendly and helpful. I wanted to have the hem of some trousers elasticated, the team here did an amazing job and did them exactly how I asked. Quality of work is almost as good as my nans ;) Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

I love Flo-Jo - so many gorgeous fabrics and accessories. They always have anything I’m looking for. I popped in on the weekend for some new material and it’s so pretty! The team are always really helpful and friendly. Really recommend swinging by to say hello :)
