Great place to stay. Absolute mega outdoor bath tub with the Cider room. Great dinner in the Cart Shed on weds night. Quality breakfast options delivered to the room. Bridport down the road is great, top flat whites at Soulshine. Outbuildings have a 22kw ev charger in the new car park too, didn't see it mentioned before we came but if you were wondering, it's there and it works. Nice people running it.

This isn’t just somewhere to stay, this is an experience where the most amazing memories are made! The family have clearly put their heart and soul into making every tiny detail perfect, and have thought of everything. We stayed for 2 nights for my husband’s surprise 50th birthday celebration, it was the perfect location allowing everyone to stay and take in the experience, with the communal space for us to be able to come together and have the most amazing food. We had 10 people in total. Delicious food and great selection of drinks available. Highly recommend the cinema experience, even in 2 degrees we were toasty warm with the heated blankets they provided. This is a hidden gem of pure luxury with a warm welcome, we will definitely be returning. Thank you to Dom and your wonderful family and team.

We have just returned from two nights staying in The Coop celebrating a birthday. We had a lovely time. The Coop felt really homely and cosy with the log burner. We did two experiences of the Hay Barn Cinema and also Bubbles In The Woods which were both fantastic. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We can’t wait to return!

We were expecting it to be beautiful as we had seen the pictures but it was memorable for the hosting and atmosphere too. We had a sneaky midweek one night for my wife’s birthday and loved it. The pressing room was stunning, beautiful high ceilings, stunning fixtures and so well designed. We had dinner in our room which was perfect, lovely to have such a nice healthy home cooked meal. The quality of ingredients for breakfast was amazing, as big Rise fans we loved the bread. We had the bubbles in the woods experience. It was a stunning location and we loved the wood fired hot tub and our cocktails were really delicious. I genuinely couldn’t fault our stay and we left with some of the amazing toiletries that made the room smell so amazing. We have family less than a mile away and are fairly local ourselves so we know the area well. The coast is stunning, Bridport is great for a wander and places like the Symondsbury estate are nearby. Definitely a great base to explore if you can tear yourself away from the room. We will be back for a longer stay soon.

We had the most fabulous birthday weekend away at Outbuildings Hotel. We stayed in The Coop and it was beautiful. The attention to detail was second to none and everything has been done to a very high standard. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for Ed and the rest of the staff. The food was also fantastic. The outdoor bath was a piece of art and such a treat. We had a lovely walk in West Bay and then headed to Lyme Regis which was well worth the visit. This hotel is a must visit and I cannot recommend it enough.

Our stay was the highlight of 2023. So many places could learn so much from outbuildings. It’s the perfect combination of family skills. We felt as though we were completely looked after without ever being opposed upon. All the small details were taken care of to make the most comfortable stay. The attention to detail made everywhere you looked so pleasing on the eye. And every member of staff or family seemed like the coolest chilled out people. We, my wife and I, are desperately trying to come back. We hired the cinema and had the best night after having an open air tin bath. Some people know how to do it right and this team/family really do.

We stayed in the Pressing Room for my husbands birthday. I read the reviews for Outbuildings and was very excited, however upon arrival it’s just so much better! There is such a magical feel to the whole place. We couldn’t fault it. We also did the Haybarn cinema experience and honestly it was excellent! The staff are so quick to respond to you, the whole place was set up immaculately! 100% recommend and we will definitely be back to try out another room in the summer, and this time we will stay for 2 nights!

I have never had such a perfect getaway. From the home made products to the smallest little details it made my birthday truly magical and we are already looking for any excuse to go back. We will see you very soon and I’m sure so will everyone one we have told to visit.
