Stunning views. I recommend to climb all three mountains: Corn du, Cribyn and Pen y fan. Also you can choose circular walk which is around 10 miles (took us 6 hours). It is tiring but views are incredible.

Took the alternate path from Storey Arms, which leads to the summit of of Corn Du. Pretty steep towards the top. Worth the effort. The Beacons never disappoint, whatever the weather

There’s a national trust carpark which we used, the walk itself is quite long rocky and slippery when wet, I doubt you’d get a wheelchair up there like. Corn du was deceiving in the mist so don’t mistake it for pen y fan as that’s the bigger one next to it. Great place for a bit of hiking in the Brecon Beacons. It’s quite high up like

Don't bother with the crowds on Penyfan for a sunset. Corn Du is a much quieter option and only 100m away. You can still hit the trig point on Penyfan for the obligatory selfie though!

As per my experience as a medium fit person, it took me about 58 minutes to reach the bottom of Corn Du, with a few minutes stopovers to catch my breath and clicking photos in between. It wasn’t raining, little sunny, extremely windy on the top of Corn Du. To mount Corn Du from the other side (on the way to Pen Y Fan side) is easier. It won’t be easy but I guarantee you all, the view from here is unbeatable. Photos don’t do justice, hence, come and try it by yourself.

Great view point! Beautiful peak, a short distance from Pen Y Fan. Nice steady walk up from the main car park at Pontardaff. The car park has a £7.50 fee now but if you have National Trust membership then this is free. This is the main route in the area if you want to do PYF and Corn Du is just a short distance away. The path is well maintained but steep but the views are well worth it.

Great views, helped by no cloud and little rain. I still don't understand some who travel up in shorts, crocks and inappropriate clothing. Ok today but the weather could easily change.
