Free car park with a huge waterfall as you drive in (visited during rainy April!). Walk UPWARDS for views of the valley, more waterfalls, and a quaint stream. Walk DOWNWARDS for thick forest with more waterfalls at the bottom on a very steep hill. Would be good for anyone who is injured/disabled and unable to walk the Four Waterfalls - because as you drive in there is a giant waterfall right before your eyes!

We used this car park to take a walk in Talybont forest. Space for around 20-25 cars, free parking. There’s a waterfall right next to the car park and a gentle downhill walk for 20 mins takes you to the main waterfall in the forest. From here you can either come back to the upper car park or carry on along a really picturesque walk along the river and rapids to the Blaen y Glyn Isaf (lower) car park. This takes half an hour from the waterfall and is very flat.

One of the most beautiful hikes in the Brecon Beacons. I will be returning again and again, lush green forests filled with moss and dew, waterfalls- the whole package! Great for families and dogs, I saw loads of people letting their dogs off lead.

Popped here to kill an hour with the kids in the 6 weeks holidays. We headed up to the top of the mountain, having walked the waterfalls before. It was pretty steep but I managed it with a three year old strapped to me and a rucksack full of sandwiches. Accompanied by a tired wife and a super fit 10 year old we managed to reach the top for some spectacular views and sandwiches.

A well maintained stone pathway. Quite steep at parts for the average walker. Great views at the top, with a ridge and fantastic landscape! Careful if you are squeamish with heights!

Bannau Brycheiniog national park. Amazing views. Great walks and you can walk to Pen Y Fan and brag about taking the longer more challenging route.

Beautiful falls and nice trail. We came here on a wet day, still manageable.
