Our 2nd trip to the School Annex for a road cycling weekend. Clare & Michael are brilliant hosts and the location stunning. The house is ideally placed to ride out from and the village provides everything we need, with two pubs, shop, cafe and bike hire (if needed) within easy walking distance. Waking up to horses in the next field is a treat and as a group, we can’t thank Clare and Michael enough for letting us share their beautiful property and ample local knowledge. Our group of five single walkers enjoyed a great weekend at the school Annex. The facilities were set up perfectly with everything there and done to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The location is superb, with easy access to the hills and the lovely village. The kitchen and dining area is well equipped and we found that the lack of internal connection between it and the rest of the accommodation worked ideally for us. Being there for longer would have allowed us to use the pleasant patio, garden and barbecue area. Booking and communications worked very well throughout. We all thought that the School Annex was brilliant.

Highly recommended! The location is great for exploring the Brecon Beacons, a lovely waterfall trail is only a short drive away. The annex was warm, cosy, homely & practical; I gather they've been doing this a long time as anything you might need has been thought of. We didn't plan our trip much at all beforehand, so it was very useful to have in the kitchen all the maps & leaflets of things to do in the area. Communication with the hosts was brilliant & we felt very welcome & at ease during our stay. Will be recommending to our friends & returning next year.

Fantastic place to stay. Really good location in village for pubs and shop but also very central for getting out and about. Some great local walks. The outdoor garden space was beautiful and peaceful with several private seating areas and beautiful views. The accommodation was perfect for us and provided everything we needed. Everything was really clean and comfortable. The kitchen was really well kitted out and we made good use of the dart board. Claire and Michael were friendly and on hand if needed with good local knowledge on places to go but you still felt as if you had complete privacy. Perfect combination. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for some relaxing time out in the Brecon Beacons.

Highly recommended! Been here twice now :) Clare and Michael are excellent and friendly hosts with tonnes of info for nearby walks. The surrounding views, especially the horses next door are a real treat! The accomodation is well catered and equipped with everything you need.

Stayed at the School Annex over the Bank Holiday weekend with a group of friends. We couldn't have wished for better hosts in Clare and Michael; they were very accommodating with the sleeping arrangements to ensure the individual needs of each of our group were met. The accommodation was clean, warm and very comfortable with all the facilities that we needed. The unique layout suited our needs perfectly, allowing for a leisurely breakfast for some while others had a lie in in peace and quiet. The location has a stunning natural beauty what ever the weather threw at us. Still lots more to explore so definitely on our list to come back, maybe the clouds will part long enough for us to use the telescope and see the stars when we next visit.

We had a fantastic stay at the School Annex. Clare and Michael were always at hand if we needed anything. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. We spent most evenings chilling out watching the vast array of new dvds they had. Sunny breakfasts and afternoon teas in the garden. Its nestled in the heart of the Brecon Beacobs so it was easy to get to Pen y fan and the Four falls walk which we did as well as being located near a canal to do of walks. We will definitely come again- such a memorable holiday. Thank you Clare and Michael for our stay!
