Very nice and tasty, welcoming staff. Reasonably priced lunch menu. I'll be back the next time in Windsor 👍👍👍

Had a great experience on a Friday night. Friendly and jovial service which made us feel right at home. Food choices were good however was quite expensive. I enjoyed the meze and kebabs. The harissa sauce was flavoursome and slightly spicy. Great atmosphere. Would recommend!

Wow, what a wonderful restaurant! We came first time, and it was definitely not a disappointment!! The service was wonderful, clean space, very nice atmosphere and the food was absolutely amazing. Booking a reservation was no problem, very quickly booked and they even did a birthday candle and song when we ordered our desert. 100% recommend this place to everyone, compliments to the chef and thank you to the kind waiters! ❤️

Came to Meimo for dinner with my mom and a friend. From Start to finish the service was excellent, waiters were attentive and happy to help. We all had tangines. The food was cooked to perfection. And the food stayed hot from start to finish because of the dish it was it. The tomato sauce my meatballs were in was absolutely delicious, you can tell it was made fresh as there was no after taste. My mom and friend enjoyed their lamb shanks. The atmosphere was relaxing and great for conversation and the prices weren't too bad either. Would definitely recommend.

The food is really great. However, the portion sizes are slightly unreasonable considering the price. In comparison to similar restaurants, the portion sizes certainly justify the price, so this is definitely something to consider. The staff, on the other hand, are very friendly, and the atmosphere is just as great. As for the taste of what you are eating. It's excellent! We often walk past and smell what they are serving. It definitely gets you wandering closer and through the door for a return visit eventually.

Excellent dining experience all around. Husband and wife owned, top shelf service and food. Everything I ordered was phenomenal, and the chicken tagine was the best I’ve had since visiting Marrakech. Definitely a top spot for Moroccan dining.

The food was good, but the portions small and pricey. On their menu, they state a 10% discretionary service charge applies to tables of 4 or more. We were 3 but they still applied the charge to our bill!

On the whole it was a good. Nice location especially eating outside in summer. The starters were great..especially the Pastilla!!! Only think that let it down were the kebabs, both the chicken and lamb were slightly over done maybe with a sauce to accompany the rice it would have been better.

We had Moroccan food few years back, it was amazing and on a special occasion we wanted to try again at an authentic Moroccan restaurant. We were looking for nearby restaurants and this was the highest rated Moroccan restaurant at various websites. We went there for dinner. It’s not a fine dining experience, but food was good. We tried three different mains. Although I am not an expert in Moroccan food, I found previous experience was better. This time we felt taste was more soupy. Plenty of seating area and mostly were empty. Even outdoor seating available if not cold outside. Parking available roadside - after 6 it’s free, but limited availability. Alternatively Victoria street car parking lot is also nearby. Staffs were friendly and served quite quickly.

Well where do I start. The food is not Mediterranean or Turkish or Arabic. It was frozen. The all so famous lamb tagine had no taste or seasoning. None of the food had seasoning. To the main course, we ordered chicken and lamb. As u can see the veggies were cut in huge pieces and the cous cous was dry. We order a couple of drinks too. Nothing fancy. And the bil, drunk roll guys....was close to a £100 pound. And the food was absolutely rubbish.

A hidden treasure just a few steps away from Windsor Castle. Their food is cooked with love, it is absolutely delicious. We had the 2 course meal with spinach appetizers and meatballs as well as chicken wings and meat skewer. Every single detail is taken care of from the food to the decor and the excellent service. I would strongly recommend it, it is worth the 5 min walk!

We visited first time for friend's birthday. From start to finish, had a great service and fresh foods. Highly recommended!

Great food, nice ambience, good service. Though one of the starters had less number of pieces than our family, the owner added some so that everyone could try one. Nice gesture. We got to try the Moroccan tea as complimentary, too.

The best birthday dinner ever for kids and adults! Took our 6th year old out for his birthday and the owner Abdul couldn't have made the night better than it was. Ordered couscous, veggies and meatballs for the kids and they absolutely devoured it. We then had lamb shank with the caramelised onions and raisins, adults meatballs and saffron rice for the adults and I've here before. Really doesn't get any better. You Need to come here yourself to really understand how good it is. No surprise it was a full house tonight on Hogmany! X

Originally we were going to an Italian restaurant here But since we didn't have a reservation, we randomly found this restaurant to eat The atmosphere of the restaurant feels very good and the decoration is also very relaxing The waiters are also very good and friendly On the contrary, the trouble is that there are so many options on the menu It takes a long time to choose for the first time It must be very painful if you are a patient with choice difficulties LOL The food is very authentic and surprisingly delicious Worth a try! Recommended~

Everything was excellent. Particularly the main course of Lamb Tagine. My dessert was fabulous as well. Best meal we've had in a long time & the Moroccan red wine was very good, never had it before, highly recommend.

Saw positive reviews online and decided to come here after a visit to the Windsor castle. The food is really great!! One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been in England. The slow cooked lamb shank and the chicken liver small plate are lengendary!

Lovely and cosy restaurant, great spot to meet with ex-colleagues/friends for dinner. It does get very crowded and the seats are pretty tight but it has a comfortable and welcoming vibe. Food was well portioned and flavoured, though the meat can be dry, overall it's decent.I absolutely love Tagine and the way Tagine is presented here is different to what I'm used to.

Easy to find if walking. No parking but didn’t expect as it is on Peascod Street. Food was good. I would recommend the lentils and the Falafels. Mint tea did not have enough fresh mint for my taste and I asked for some sweetener but it never arrived. It was busy. We were a large group but could not hear much other than the person directly next to me. So good “market noise” vibe but not the best if you want to listen and catch up. Staff were very nice and pleasant.

The place looks very nice and the staff is very nice, but i dont really get the hype about the food. Portions were reasonably large but quite average tasting. We had the lunch menu “deal” which included starter and main for £15.95 which seems like there were the individual prices of the 2 items anyway (£3 starter and 12.95 main) Overall good portions - money ratio but I don’t think I’ll go back

An interesting place, especially with the decor on the inside. It's got some good Mediterranean vibes and some unique seating around. The service was also really good from staff. Food, however, was not that great. I mean it was ok but having gotten a full three course meal none of us found it good tasting enough that we want to go back.

Fabulous place for Moroccan food, with good service and atmosphere. The place looked a bit deserted when we were there (only one or two other tables with customers), but that was probably because it was a Sunday evening. Food was delicious, and I cannot think of anything to criticise about this place.

The place is nice, quiet, a bit crowded, the decor is good, the waiters are nice and friendly The food is not tasty at all, the grills and the tagine also lacks taste We ordered a cooked steak, but he gave it to us unripe Moroccan tea was nice and a gift from the restaurant We started with chicken wings and shrimp appetizers in tomato sauce and spring roll were delicious. Prices are very, very high, 85 pounds for two adults and one child I hope that the level of service will be improved and the prices will be taken into account

Great place in Windsor to grab lunch before you go to the castle. We got the mint tea to start and it was served in a traditional Moroccan tray and teapot. The tea was refreshing. We then ordered Briouat cheese which was so crunchy it was perfect. We got kofta brochette which is a must try! Lamb Tagine was great too. Great place with amazing food. Highly recommend

Delicious food and great service. The only miss for us was that they have many desserts but some of them are not maroccan (tiramisu in a maroccan restaurant?) I wish the menu had many more maroccan desserts. Nevertheless we would definitely come back

It was nice place. We ordered chicken and lamb Tagine with rice , both were amazing but we loved the chicken Tagine more than the lamb one. I would definitely visit it again . ❤

I saw this Moroccan restaurant by accident while passing through Windsors main shopping area , After trying it , I must say it is so disappointing, non of the served food is genuine Moroccan , the Couscous was tasteless without baby marrow , or Defaya , only peas beans and carrots, zaalouk was oily not fresh at all , salads was tasteless, stale , not fresh at all , pastella was not bad , falafel is not bad but it’s not Moroccan. They need a lot of work to upgrade this low level , it does not represent genuine Moroccan cuisine at all .

My go-to restaurant in Windsor, food is excellent (especially the lamb kofta). Vast menu, with a reasonable lunchtime deal as well. Friendly staff, great service, and spacious restaurant. To be honest, there's not much more I could ask for.

Food was okay: my husband had the chicken brochette and I had the chicken tagine. Both dishes were cooked nicely, but we found them to be overpriced for what they were and the tagine was quite salty. Atmosphere left a lot to be desired though. During our meal, a man emerged from the back of the restaurant pushing a shopping trolley with empty bin bags in it. He pushed this through the restaurant and left, only to return a couple of minutes later, this time with the bin bags full. Once again, he pushed the shopping trolley right through to the back of the restaurant, where we could see it for the rest of our meal. I spent the rest of my meal wondering what on earth was going on...

Thoroughly recommend this restaurant. The staff were so friendly and welcoming with a good knowledge of the food. Restaurant was clean and felt fresh. There's inside and outside seating with plenty of space. Had main and dessert, both were well cooked and really tasty. Good range for vegans and vegetarians.

Great Moroccan food and the most friendly staff. The food was so delicious, genuinely Moroccan and full of flavour. Everyone had a smile on their face and they were extremely kind and friendly. We visited with kids and they had a great time too! I’ll definitely come back here when I’m around again.

We struggled to get a reservation on Saturday night in Windsor. On the off chance we stumbled across this gem of a place, Meimos. It was very cosy and aesthetically pleasing. Very friendly helpful staff who were super attentive! The food was delicious, flavoursome and succulent. We did not plan to have 3 courses but the dessert looked so good we had to. Highly recommend and would definitely return.
