Read the information carefully before booking so your clear what your getting into this is an off the grid island you have to bring your food in and take your rubbish away. If your the kind of person that's ok with that then this is an amazing place to stay a whole island full of wildlife especially puffins and only 16 guest plus staff most of the time on it. The accommodation is clean, dry and modern the kitchen has everything you need to cook your food the staff are very friendly and the island is amazing.

It's an amazing island. The accommodation is good, like a youth hostel. Not surprisingly, the building is not heated, and they recommend bringing logs for the log burner (note the instructions they provide regarding what sort of logs), we brought a few, we should have brought quite a few more.

A very great day to be had exploring and watching the puffins. Limited access and booking by Internet only. Dogs not allowed and advisable to have good walking footage. Take your own lunch, but you must bring your rubbish away from the island, no rubbish collections lol

You need to be Fit to walk around this island 😅,take food and drink ( Must), with you, very basic toilet. The island was just what you expect, stunning scenery, take binoculars with you( not allowed to step off the path) ,long Len's for camera.

My son and I stayed her as volunteers. The island visitors accommodation is simple clean, warm and dry It is on an island with no mains electricity or mains water. You stay here for the natural beauty and wildlife.

Staff fabulous and friendly, but one staff member was unpleasant and not understanding that older people can't go up the steps to the introduction meeting she bullied and order lady up the steps not everyone is young so people have there own pace and have to stop, I sympathise you all have a job to do but she was OTT a little strange as the volunteer her self wasn't a youngster, but a fabulous place my friend stayed for 3 days and the accommodation was fabulous and would recommend.

Stayed in a double room for three nights. Beds comfortable kitchen and living room shared but enjoyed the company. Fab will be back next year 😃

Volunteered for a week so didn't actualy stay in the hostel, but accommodation is clean and reasonable.
