I have a lot of experience of co-working. There are a number of things that I look for in a co-working space such as lightning-fast Internet, a good quality working environment, a sense of community and cutting edge facilities. To me right now, all of these are essential to give me the focus I need to be as productive as possible and they are all available at contingent works. This is more of a community than an enterprise. I’ve been coming to Contingent for over a year now and the place has been utterly life-changing for me. I’m a freelancer who really dislikes working from home. Having somewhere to go each day (that isn’t a crowded local coffee shop) has given me a much deeper level of focus. I get way more work done in way less time than ever I did before. The (extremely reasonable) membership easily pays for itself every month in time saved procrastinating at home. Even more importantly, I’ve managed to develop a really good level of separation between work and home life. I can mentally switch off when I leave at the end of the day. That’s not always easy to do when you work for yourself. There’s a really chilled vibe and the place is big enough that you can sit in various different places depending on your mood. Ewan and the team are all lovely too. They’re just a very friendly, supportive and helpful bunch. And while Bromley might not exactly be London’s coolest town, being right in the centre is great for lunch and post-work pub options. Contingent has been such a wonderful addition to the area. Totally recommended for freelancers or businesses who want a base without having to rent a place of their own.

I can highly recommend Contingent Works to anyone looking for a co-working space in the Bromley area. It's a great option whether you need a fixed desk, just want the occasional break from the home office, or need somewhere quiet for an important video conference. Ewan and the rest of the team are super friendly and accommodating. It has everything you need for a productive day - fast wifi, multiple pods for private calls, unlimited tea and coffee, you name it. An extra bonus is that it's right in the heart of town so it's handy for running errands, grabbing lunch, or a bit of retail therapy during your break.

I needed a quiet place to work once a week when my toddler and husband had reign of the house, and Contingent Works was perfect. The flex membership suited my needs beautifully. It’s a fantastic community and the staff are top notch.

This place has a great location with close proximity to Bromley station, the mall, and an array of coffee shops. Also, it is so nice that they have fast Internet, flexible membership plans, and complimentary drinks. Always enjoy catching up with people who work here! The atmosphere is chill and inclusive. Highly recommend this place if you cannot stand working at home anymore!

CW is a great spot in South London, nicely designed and spacious facilities with free coffees and kitchen areas to use for lunches. Very friendly and helpful staff, highly recommend this if you need a co-working space in the area

Fantastic place to work with a friendly atmosphere. As someone who recently went self-employed it had everything I needed and more. Great workspaces, nice coffee, fast Wi-Fi, the ability to come and go at any time and located in a great spot. Would highly recommend Contingent Works!

We had a great host at the workshop today, the building staff was attentive and efficient, the space is very nice and comfortable to have an efficient and enjoyable working time. Highly recommended.
