I had heard of Grumpys but never able to go down due to work and family commitments, Until………………… I got a job there! As soon as I walked through the door, I felt at home, straight away, I LOVE IT 😁 The atmosphere and the people who frequent this bar are all ultra friendly, I didn’t feel uncomfortable for even a nanosecond. This venue is seriously impressive so what are you waiting for, and no, I’m not on commission here, I just love everything about the place ❤️😁👍

We had the privilege of playing here on Friday night (19.11.21), it is without a doubt the best venue we’ve played at. As you walk in you instantly know this place is special , there’s a phone box on your right, a ZZtop style Ford and an old Bugatti racing car in front of you , walk past the waltzer car and the jack Daniel’s bottle lighting and you step down to the concrete floor of an old motorbike garage complete with work benches and tool boxes , we shared the stage with 3 classic motorcycles, traffic lights and tyre advertising banners. I can’t tell you how cool, quirky, original, warm and friendly this place is . The owner, Russ, is an absolute gem and has built grumpys with his own two hands and a lot of love. If you love live music, good beer, a friendly atmosphere, a cracking night out in a venue that is truly unique this is the place for you !! Can’t wait to play here again 😊

People were amazing! Proper authentic place! Rough and ready, but full of charm and character in abundance! Brilliant! 👍

Went to Grumpys last night with 2 friends and it was the best night out that I have had in the 3 years of living in Staffordshire. It's warm, it's welcoming, it's full of quirks, the music is really good, the drinks are cheap, and frills there are none. Its raw, its passionate and its perfect. Please, take a look for yourself because my words will not do this place the justice it deserves. Its an experience that everyone needs to have at least 10 times plus in a life time. We have seen the rest and now found the best. Long live Grumpys 🫡
