What a FAB creative, joyful, wonderous entity this is. Go visit on a Sunday for the best vegan roast, but don’t forget to book or you’ll probably be disappointed! They also have some rather spectacular gigs. Hook up to them so you know what’s going on. 👍👍👍👍

So much to look at and so much to think about. Trying to define Rockaway is like trying to grasp smoke. Subversive, anarchic, ever changing, this amazing arts and crafts community and event space has grown organically from an old junk yard nestled in the shadow of an abandoned quarry. Whether you're there for a band, a wedding, a movie or to the attend the beautiful forest school, you will have never been anywhere quite like it.

OMG! Luved it, so many unusual things to see that have been made on site. The people were so friendly and there is a honesty cafe with Vegan Mork Pies & Sausage rolls. Some staff do live on site. If you only go & see this once just have a walk around the site you wont be disappointed.

Some great events in an awesome ex-scrapyard turned art studio, ecological project, music venue, vegan cafe, church of protest, and general hub of anarchy.

Absolutely love this place. So much to see it's hard to take it all in. The cafe is well worth stopping in for a slice of cake too.

Adie and I have been lucky enough to enjoy this fantastic place . The food is always good. We meet lovely new people and the artisans are wonderful too. Great for children and dog friendly. A place to be, so much to offer. Sarah Stockley
