I have worked opposite this beautiful Grade 1 listed building for 16 years, it had been empty and unloved for 14+ of those years. Last year Carey & Simon became the new custodians of Parade House and both they and their team of experts have not stopped working on the building bringing it back to life! We were invited to have a look around once the main works were completed and we can’t believe what has been achieved in such a short space of time. The property now has an exciting future ahead of it and takes you back to a time of grandeur opulence and excess. The rooms are beautifully presented, and boast so many of its original features. My favourite room is the dance hall on the first floor. Perfect for a birthday or tea party! I think Simon & Carey should be congratulated on saving this beautiful important,Trowbridge building. I honestly feared it would crumble to the ground in the next 10 years. Simon & Carey came to the rescue last year. Their endless energy, investment and “can do” attitude turning a very sorry old building Into a great venue for all types of business & social events. If historic buildings are one of your passions or you are trying to find an interesting venue to hold a party, conference or ceremony I would highly recommend Parade House.!

An absolute hidden gem of a boutique wedding venue, owned run by the lovliest, friendlist couple with a lot of heart! I'm so excited to photograph and film beautiful weddings there!

Visited on a Saturday when the owners opened up for free for Heritage Open Days. The house was beautiful and, considering that they had only bought it and started renovations a few months ago, it was looking loved again. The ballroom upstairs with it's high ceilings and large windows is a lovely venue for weddings. They had laid out displays of local interest, dressed the rooms for the period, and even had a tribute to HM the Queen who had just sadly passed away. The owners were chatty and friendly and welcomed everyone into their own private house, and I'm sure the house will look better and better as and when they have the time and funds to restore it all. I wish them all the best and hope to come back next time to see progress.

Absolutely brilliant refurbishment, looks and feels just as you imagine a regency property to be. The cream teas when available are really well suited to this property you feel as though you are in that period, it is certainly a asset to the town of Trowbridge and worth a look around, or even for any event you are planning.

Superb venue - great atmosphere. If you want a different night out then you should definitely try it. Cheese and meat platter was ideal. Recommend booking early as only 24 seats.

We went to the Coronation cream tea afternoon which made the Royal event even more memorable! Exquisite setting, delicious food and super friendly staff...special mention to Aga :) Meeting new people and chatting with the owners. Will definitely be returning for other events... Trowbridge is so fortunate to have Parade House!

Parade House is a superb venue run by even better people! The owners are a lot of fun with a great appreciation of the local scene. I recently visited Parade House which hosted the Chamber Of Commerce Christmas party and enjoyed it very much. Aga also kept the drinks flowing which is always a festive welcome!

My husband organised a surprise birthday part at this beautiful venue. We all had such a lovely evening and Simon & Carey were incredible hosts. They and their dedicated team worked extremely hard all evening to ensure that 30 friends and I hard a fun, memorable evening. If you are considering booking Parade House for an event then don’t hesitate as it will be a day and or evening to remember!!

Went to the Parade House to see 'Singing in the rain' with my mum and sister, and what a treat! Before the viewing we were given a tour of the house which is simply beautiful, with rooms set to a theme it really gives visitors the chance to visualise how it looked in the past. The owners were absolutely lovely, so accommodating and knowledgable about the history of the house, their love and respect for the history of the building really shined through. The two members of staff we encountered were just as lovely, they were friendly. chatty and they clearly love their jobs. The intimate showing room was cosy and comfortable with leather seats and individual tables, you can really make yourselves at home. We will definitely be back!

I arranged a private birthday dinner and film screening at Parade House for my husband and a group of friends, and couldn't have been happier. From arranging everything with Simon over email, the way the house was prepared for the event and to the staff on the night, it was all so well run and so easy! Thank you so much to Simon for all the help planning the event, and to Carey and the rest of the attentive staff on the night – everyone had a really good time. We love how they've restored Parade House and the screening room and bar are such a welcome addition to Trowbridge. We've been to one other film screening before and plan to go to many more films and events there in future as it's always such a good night.
