Friendly good advice on products and customer services

I'm not a professional builder, just a local householder who undertakes practical jobs around the house. Yet the staff have never been patronising to this amateur but always really friendly, helpful and willing to give advice. There is a good range of materials, too, at reasonable prices. Our builder (for the jobs that are beyond my skills!) always uses them and has never found them out of stock.
