Highly recommend a few days away at this location. Mark was very helpful from arrival to departure with tips on the lakes & showing us the available facilities. We all had a great weekend & will definitely be returning again, hopefully next time around for a dryer weekend! Fish side of things we caught over 10 different species & multiple carp up to mid double figures.

Me and my wife stayed in carp Lodge over the weekend. The lodge was perfect very clean and nicely done out. With everything you need. The fishing was excellent, with lots of helpful advice from Mark. Geraldine and Mark are excellent hosts and we will definitely be returning ASAP. Thank you for a brilliant stay.

We stayed in Tench lodge and had a really nice short break. Fishing was brilliant. Mark, the owner, was so helpful especially when husband had a fall and needed medical attention. Geraldine, the co-owner was lovely to chat to. We will definitely be back next year.

Just got home after a glorious 3 night break. All I can say is WOW!!!! What a wonderful place, the shepherds huts are so cute and the welcome food pack is excellent. We had a family BBQ whilst we were there and Geraldine supplied the most amazing burgers, sausages and lamb steaks (their own produce!) My husband is the fisherman and he’s never had such amazing fishing! I throughly enjoyed sitting in the beautiful surroundings reading my book, watching the wildlife and sipping on the occasional glass of chilled white wine!!!! Fabulous hosts and spotless accommodation. We will definitely be returning. Thank you both for a wonderful time.

Just getting ready to leave 😔 and head back to reality. It has been an amazing stay. The Carp hut is in a great position with a pretty little bridge beside it. The fish cone over every morning and cruise around under the balcony. It has everything you need and more! The welcome pack is a most welcome treat ☺️ The views are beautiful, its on a small farm so there are some cows and sheep you can go and see, and they sell they're own meat on site. Each hut has a bbq and fireplace that goes down lovely! Mark and Geraldine are absolutely lovely, always about for a chat, and nothing is too much and make you feel totally at home. Couldn't have asked for nicer hosts 🥰 Tried my luck at pole fishing (1st for me) and caught some beautiful fish and new species I'd not caught. It is safe to say we will be back again and again
