I had the pleasure of working at a corporate event alongside Alastair from Nightlights recently. Throughout the process there was plenty of communication regarding the needs of the event, and he was really easy to work with on the night. The venue looked stunning when the guests arrived. The evening started with gently background music through-out the drinks reception and meal - through to getting everyone up and dancing as the night went on.

Alastair from Nightlights is simply amazing! I have had the pleasure of working with him on several occasions and Alastair never fails to create a brilliant atmosphere and get the party started. His lighting and DJ services are second to none and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for your wedding or corporate event.

Nightlights got the crowd dancing all evening, carefully choosing each song to keep the crowd on the dancefloor, and having a great time. They also supported with additional entertainment hire to take the stress out of speaking to individual suppliers and the photobooth, caricaturists and magicians were all great, and really made the evening special.

Can't recommend highly enough. Alastair took time to make sure the playlist, the lighting... everything, was just right. Sound system... Absolutely banging. 14/10 would disco again.

Alastair supported at our Wedding in May. The dance floor was packed the whole night - all our guests keep complimenting the music choice and saying how great the evening was thanks to Alastair. On the run up to the wedding Alastair had a few zoom calls with us and was so helpful and supportive. Massive Thank you!

If you are looking for a DJ for your event, look no further. My husband and I used Alastair for our wedding, we are so glad we did, we were so happy with the result. The lead up to our wedding was stress free; we could tell we were dealing with a professional with years of experience. Everything we needed was easy for Alastair to deliver. He has worked in most venues in the area so has existing working relationships which makes things go that much smoother. On the night everything we requested was played and we had some odd requests! The tracks Alastair used were full length cuts rather than cheap shorter edits. He built the evenings music around our preferred genres and also respected our no-play list. Alastair read the room perfectly and adjusted his delivery style according, he was involved and engaged with what he was doing and clearly loves what he does compared to other DJs who often just set a playlist and press play! Alastair also played us some extra surprise songs at the end of the night just because he knew we'd like them, he was bang on. Our ears lit up when we heard these songs we'd forgotten to request! It was a perfect end to a wonderful day. We wouldn't think twice before hiring him again. He has a true love and understanding of his craft and totally nailed it! Thank you for completing our day Alastair. You knew what we wanted playing without us naming it.

We cannot recommend Alastair enough, flawless execution from start to finish. We hired NightLights for a wedding in June 2023 and he didn’t disappoint! As requested, Alastair played; one playlist with our guests song recommendation and switched to our heavier playlist from 10pm onwards including heavy metal and rock music. Our guests loved that the music was catered to US rather than being the mainstream. His set up was elegant and streamline; I didn’t even notice the initial set up! 10/10 service, highly recommend. -Bex and Matt Baker

We booked Alastair for our wedding at Hillfields farm and he was absolutely great. The ability to create and share a playlist with Alastair was amazing. Not only did we have fun doing it but it made it feel like a really collaborative process. We were able to discuss our playlist with Alastair before the big day and came away from the discussion completely at ease. Could not recommend Alastair highly enough, he is super friendly and super accommodating and also really really knows what he’s doing!!

Alastair.... what can I say. You are amazing! From start to finish of the process you made it feel really easy and stress free. We cannot thank you enough for being a part of our wedding, not only did you take into consideration personal preferences but you did what was needed in such a smooth way that it all just flowed very nicely! We booked Alastair of DJ Nightlights as our DJ for our wedding. We also hired the Selfie Wizard. We could not have picked a better company, Alastair was extremely professional, and knew exactly how to keep all our guests continually on the dance floor, we did not see a single moment when the dance floor was empty, even my grandad at 90+ was boogie-ing to the music and had a fantastic time. The Selfie Wizard was amazing, guests uploaded pictures to the system to be shown on a massive screen, they could then print whichever photos they wanted. Our guess thoroughly loved the Selfie Wizard especially as they are so trigger happy with their phone camera’s, we were also provided a digital copy of all the photos which were uploaded, to bring back many memories for the rest of our lives.
