I can't recommend Monica enough. I'm new to acupuncture but decided to reach out to see if it could help with some chronic pain I've been experiencing due to endometriosis and digestive issues. Having not felt listened to by the NHS, it was honestly refreshing to talk to someone who genuinely cared about the whole picture (as opposed to just one symptom). Monica's approach to acupuncture extends far beyond the physical aspects. She genuinely cares about people's overall wellbeing and takes a holistic approach to treatment. Her genuine dedication to understanding your unique situation really sets her apart in my opinion. She takes the time to truly listen and grasp what you're going through and will then provide a personalised approach in the session depending on where you're at on the day. Monica has such a warm energy and is clearly passionate about her work, you feel that she genuinely wants to help people on their journey. I personally still have a bit of ground to cover on my own journey but have already seen great improvements in pain levels. I'm very glad to have found White Tara when I did and look forward to continuing working with Monica.

I have been receiving treatment from Monica for several months to treat mild pain, stiffness and discomfort in my neck and shoulders. I received treatment for this when I lived in China, including acupuncture, massage and spinal adjustments, which I found effective, so I was very pleased to find Monica in Hove. Monica is a skilled and professional acupuncturist, who has helped me address the issues with my neck and also to identify other issues including an ear infection early. I believe treatments like acupuncture can help address health issues in a preventative and holistic way that maintains good health over the long term. I’ve had a really bad lower back which developed into sciatica. The doctor prescribed painkillers and strong anti-inflammatories, but the pain got too much to bear, so I tried acupuncture for the first time. It’s no exageration to say that Monica has worked miracles! In just 3 sessions she has stopped the pain, reduced the swelling and increased manoeuvrability to such an extent that I’m going skiing next week. I have stopped the medication. I’m so grateful. Monica is very knowledgeable in her craft and I can't recommend her enough. I was suffering from severe facial spasms which were embarrassing and really took a toll on my confidence at work/personal life. After getting in touch with White Tara clinic, Monica had eased my symptoms with acupuncture within 2 weeks and the spasms were completely gone within 6-8 weeks. She has also really helped me to address some pre-existing PCOS symptoms with helpful tips on dietary plans and being more mindful of my body's stress points.
