😠 Hotel was very dirty and outdated. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls and there was water leaks and dampness throughout. The room was cramped and that was supposedly their best room. Staff was very unhelpful and rude, especially the head receptionist Sandra. We paid for the room, breakfast and park... People often mention room, hotel, staff,

Hotel was very dirty and outdated. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls and there was water leaks and dampness throughout. The room was cramped and that was supposedly their best room. Staff was very unhelpful and rude, especially the head receptionist Sandra. We paid for the room, breakfast and parking but we left within 20 minutes but they refused a refund. I will be raising court action about this. It's not about the money, it's about the principle.

This hotel is so lovely and clean, the beds are really comfy and the room has all the facilities needed, the staff are amazing they couldn't do any more for you if they tried, asking if there's anything we want/need they are their to help 24/7. The cleaner comes to your room every day to change your towels, make the beds and empty the bins! Couldn't be more pleased with the stay like I said all the staff are so welcoming and joyful, I can't believe it's so cheap!

Pre booked via booking. Com. When we arrived they informed us that they'd cancelled our booking as had doubled booked we paid £123.00 for a double room. Instead they made a room up on 3rd floor at other side of building. We had no heating. Room was dirty. Wardrobe broken. No fluent hot water as knob kept coming off. Light at mirror didn't work and litter under bed. Thick of dust and only room being used on our corridor. The hotel however did give us a little heater which was as much use as a chocolate fireguard!!! We paid deposit on booking 3 weeks prior to arrival for BTID on North pier May 2019 and remaining balance when we arrived Yet given a 0 * room. When it stated 3* £123. 00 for 2 nights for a double room. Not forgetting t kettle with no cups or tea or coffee. stains on bed, extremely worn wall paper looking like 3 shades of cream. Don't recommend this place at all Not value for money one bit and when complaint made no response at all given. 🤬😡

Very basic and cheaper than others in Blackpool. Rooms were clean but require lots of attention. We were in room 26 and what would be difficult to describe as a wardrobe had latts missing off the door. Radiator was not big enough to warm the room fully, though we were there during storm Hannah. There were signs of damp on the wall, the toilet was loose and the sink size was more like an eye wash basin. We had no towels when we arrived ,though we got them when requested. The telly in my sisters room 21 did not work and she had the sound of a dripping toilet all night. On the bright side, the staff were lovely and only too happy to help with anything. Breakfast was in the sister hotel next door (The Colwyn) and was very nice, though my wife did hand back a slice of brown bread to the waiter that had some mould on it. It's unlikely we would use this hotel again, in future we will pay more for a higher standard.

Went away for the weekend with mates to Blackpool. Never again would I step foot into this dirty stinking hotel. Don't even know where to start. The room was just absolutely filthy. The bedroom made me want to cry the shower toilets we made sure we was out all the time. Ladies and gents I would advise to pay extra and book into an actual clean hotel. Although I was not responsible for booking this hotel I've never been so glad to be out of it.. There is only one upside to this experience. We met a couple who was apparently helping out for the weekend. Although I cannot remember her name. She was absolutely amazing such a lovely warm kind human. I did sense she felt the same when I bought up certain issues with the hotel but I can understand her loyalties so probably did not speak her mind freely and openly. So if you are looking for a cheap lower than low budget hotel and don't mind living in dirt than this is the place for you. The only upside is the lovely woman we met at reception her husband was pretty lovely as well and the owner seemed super friendly whish makes this harder to write but I have to be absolutely honest in my review. There was another man who worked there tho quite rather rude not very friendly but I guess there is always one !!!!

The staff were helpful but the room was freezing over night so the ended in us coming home with the flu. We brought a wheelchair user with us because it said they had disabled facility and disabled access. The disabled access was fine but the rooms were small and the toilet was tiny he couldn't get his wheel chair inside so he had to hop to go to the toilet as he only has one leg. Also the shower head wouldn't stay on the wall and kept falling down on us while showering. Other than that it was a cheap hotel and good to stay in over night 👍

Went there to stop for a couple of days, staff were rude and unhelpful. As we went to our room it smelt like egg,the floor was dirty and extremely dusty. In the bathroom there was a chunk of hair on the sink. It was clearly not cleaned. The beds were very uncomfortable and had several stains on. The TV did not work, neither the shower and we insisted on getting a new TV remote from reception but they didn’t give us one. Absolutely distusting wouldn’t recommend at the slightest.

I have stayed here twice. the staff are friendly and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. My two dogs were also welcome. The hotel is situated near the promenade and the beach. The dogs are allowed on this beach which is great. The hotel is across the road from the tram and bus stops making it easy to travel around. I will definitely stay here again. Maz 👍

Staff helpful but run ragged. Nice food & good value in the restaurant. Full hotel needs decorating from top to bottom. Our room was ok but the mattress should be in a skip!! Felt every spring. Shower complete waste of time!! No remote for the t.v. The heating in the room was uncontrollable, we had to sleep with the window open fully which was very noisy. Us & other guest's where calling it faulty towers. Would stay again if renovated.
