AMAZING dining in, DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY! It's incredible how different the quality of this restaurant is dining in VS ordering online for delivery. I will put the bad delivery experience down to bad luck since I've eaten in person here many times and the food has always been incredible (my favourite Thai in Brighton so far). The staff are incredible friendly too which is great and the Thai milk tea is a MUST TRY! The value for money on the lunch time menu is amazing too so make sure to pop in for lunch too. Overall I'd give Kanok Thai a solid 8.3/10

We collected three dishes from here last night. The pad Thai and papaya salad were both okay. However,the pad spicy duck was awful! It was rendered inedible by far too much salt. It burned my mouth. We tried to call the restaurant and got the answerphone. We left our contact number but there was no callback! By the way, it took me about 50mins waiting for the food!

Went for lunch, booked a table the day before very easy. Great price had the lunch deal starter and main for 12 quid. Food was amazing, had the chilli and basil beef was delicious and the tom yom soup. And the thai milk tea was great. Staff were great and friendly 10/10

Deep fried ice cream here was sooo yummmmm. If you have a sweet tooth, this won't dissapoint you!

This is hands down the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to in the UK. Having been born and lived in Thailand for seven years, this food is truly authentic, and the atmosphere is nice and casual, with really friendly staff. I’ll be coming here again, for sure! อร่อยมาก😍

Lovely small Thai restaurant. They do great lunch deal and overall prices are very good. Although they were busy service was still fast and friendly. The larb is highly recommended!

Very cute cosy restaurant with friendly service and decent lunch special. Nothing special but won't disappoint either. Thai iced milk tea always hits the spot on a warm day.

A warm and inviting restaurant. This is not the place to go if you're seeking a posh atmosphere. But if you are searching for authentic Thai cuisine, you must visit this restaurant. The staff members were very pleasant, and the food was delicious. Unlike many restaurants in London those advertise a particular cuisine but serve something entirely different, this restaurant serves authentic Thai cuisine that is delicious.

My favourite Thai restaurant. The food here is very delicious and very reasonable priced. The service is fast and friendly and portions are good too. The pineapple rice is highly recommend as well as the sirloin steak with that amazing sauce. They also do a lunch deal until 3pm

So tasty, and the service was lovely! Such a homely vibe, the beer and the Thai milk tea was great, and we loved all the dishes and being able to share them easily.

Food quality was excellent. Tried a Tung Yum soup with chicken, chilli and basil stirred beef with jasmine rice. They were not too spicy. Portion could be larger though.

Great value for money. You have a 2 course menu for lunch, same portions! Small restaurant so can easily be fully packed. Great service. Take away too. My favourite dish is the Green curry! If you are into spicy food try it! Otherwise, plenty of other options.

Overall our experience dining at Kanok Thai was okay! The food was tasty, however, the restaurant is not child friendly. They do not have high chairs, the service staff would got us the bill without asking if we wanted deserts, when asked, they said the kitchen is closed. Seating was a bit congested.

Went on Fathers’ Day and were glad we had booked. The food was stunning - the Thai fish cakes were the best we’d eaten, while the Thai sausage (ordered out of curiosity) was fabulous - coarse and spicy. All of our mains were delicious and generously sized (although we did have to nudge for all of our rice). Will totally make a return visit. Added bonus - large bottles of Signha available!

Was a just a little bit underwhelmed. Kee mow noodles weren't wide flat noodles like I expected, but regular pad thai noodles. The tofu was a spongy kind with a texture I didn't enjoy. Flavors were nice but things were quite a bit different than the Thai food I've had in the past. I did enjoy the spice level as I asked for extra hot and they accommodated. Maybe it's just more authentic than I'm used to having back home in the U.S., but I've had similar dishes in other countries that were what I expected. Either way, worth a try.

It was my first time visiting this cute restaurant, and the experience couldn't be better. You can tell the food was absolutely delicious just with the aspect...the staff was super kind and the price is quite reasonable!!! I will be definitely back!!

A real Thai food. I would recommend the fruity pineapple rice as they mix fry the rice so well that the rice can really bring the scent of pineapple exciting your taste buds. The easy-to-make garlic sauce vegetable is unexpectedly great, having every vegetable provided cooked to a perfect condition! Ahh the size is also of a good size! One dish is above an average Asian appetite!

SO DELISH!!!!! I’ve tried so many Thai places in Brighton (Almost all of them!) and this by far is the best & most authentic!!! Can’t wait to come back. Super recommend!!! The Penang curry was to die for 😍😍😍

Came here for the lunch set menu. Taste good and good value for money.

From time to time I go there for lunch with my colleagues as its next to our office. Staff super friendly. Restaurant is always tidy and neat and the food is amazing 😍 I was not really keen on Thai food as the first time i tried it I went for the wrong dishes and had a bad experience. This place definitely made me change my mind. I do love it!
