What a magical place. At the entrance I didn't expect much but once inside I was surprised. It was full of beauty and imagination magic. The scenes are put together well and lots of information around the trail. There is a children's activity booklet that is free and worth doing. Lots of questions and quizzes to help keep the children engaged. My only improvement would be the attraction could do with being in a bigger setting as was only small and compact.

We had a great visit a few weeks ago. A place of wonder and imagination, bringing back memories of the stories as a child... We highly recommend going and exploring The World of Beatrix Potter. No complaints... We got some good tips for plants from the friendly gardener too!

As an adult without I absolutely enjoyed visiting this attraction. Basically it’s just a walkthrough with scenes inspired by Beatrix Potter books. It is very well made and immersive with sounds and smells. It’s not for everyone I guess but I really loved it. I was just a bit confused by why there was a Peter Rabbit character taking pictures with people outside the attraction but the staff told me you had to pay extra money or something. It was a bit awkward but other than that this attraction is really amazing and magical.

Really good museum. Love the displays and story. The only thing I would say even though it is wheelchair accessible, in places it is very tight and dark. Furthermore, the attraction exit is especially tight and the slope outside the entrance is very steep just be careful.

A really sweet attraction. Lot's of information and I recommend doing the children's activity booklet as it points out things that might have been missed. My children enjoyed it but I actually think I liked it more! The detail and care gone into the scenes is just lovely.

If you grew up with Beatrix Potter books & stories then you would find this place interesting. My Mrs & 7yo daughter loved it, I was bored. Being half term we expected it to be busy, queued for 45 minutes. I recommend that you get there early as the nearby car park was practically full by 10:40. A bit claustrophobic in places. Spent about an hour there , personally I would rather have saved my £9 . Staff were good & friendly. Seafarers chip shop opposite does nice fish & chips. You can’t buy tickets in advance neither

This attraction in the Lake District celebrates everything about Beatrix Potter – the 20th century English author and illustrator who is best known for her imaginative children’s books, the most famous of all being The Tale of Peter Rabbit. She wrote 23 books in total. Well worth a visit with the family or even solo. Friendly staff and well priced gifts. Lovely garden too!

I love it here! I went for the first time when I was really small but visited again as an adult with my best friend. Gorgeous displays and a cosy atmosphere, and when we went you could take home radish seeds to plant. Very cute and a nice gift shop.

I'm not sure who had more fun...me or my two year old. This was such a lovely place to visit. They really try to keep the magic of Potter alive, fun for all ages... I even saw my husband crack a few smiles. This place was designed for toddlers, everything within reach and view for them. Thoroughly enjoyed. Will probably go back... without my toddler 😂😂

Not a particularly large attraction but if you are a fan of the Beatrix Potter books then may be worth a visit if you have young children. Cost £18 for 2 adults and 2 young children. Bit pricey in my opinion for what you get for your money. The attraction didn’t take us long to get around maybe 45 mins max? Not much room to manoeuvre around others but when we arrived it was around midday so not overly busy. There is a car park just over the other side of the road - not overly massive but we managed to find a space. Car park was a bit pricey too but doesn’t surprise me due to the area’s popularity.

Fantastic experience with our family and three year old grandson. He was transfixed by all the displays and loved every single minute of our visit. We also had tickets to Peter Rabbit’s birthday party in the theatre which was also very, very, very enjoyable. The cast were fantastic and engaged with all the children in the audience. We also had lunch in the cafe which was fab too.

A wonderful place to indulge yourself in the classic Petter Rabbit and other lovely stories by Beatrix Potter The attraction begins with a short film introducing the life of Beatrix Potter and her connections with the Lake District, followed by the vivid characters depicted in her stories. These story settings are relatively in a small scale but delicate. The electronic panels next to the sets help visitors explore more about the character. However, some are broken and not yet repaired for use.

I grown up with Peter rabbit stories and this place is nice but unfortunately nothing for adults which was a bit disappointing, but perfect for children. I booked earlier from their website and everything went smooth. The show is a must don’t miss it and the gift shop is lovely but honestly i had higher expectations

I'll be honest I've only been slightly exposed to the stories (and the films) and didn't quite know what to expect from 'the attraction'. What a delight. Life size models of the characters bringing the Potter world to life (except they don't move). You can't help but admire the effort gone into each one. Plenty of details at youngster height to entertain also.

Had a wonderful time here. It was lovely with ever story explained. The models of all the characters were wonderful and the quiz my kids got was wonderful and made them look. Well worth a visit for kids of all ages who love Beatrix Potter and Peter Rabbit.

This is a wonderful place! Full of excitement and fun for people of all ages. I would highly recommend popping in to see the story of Beatrix Potter if you are nearby and looking for an hour or so of fun. There is a cafe and plenty of toilet facilities. The place caters to all walking abilities and those otherwise bound to other mobility devices. Don't forget to look at the cute badger! Although you can't buy any badger memorabilia......

What a brilliant little place. It's cute well layed out and the exhibits/displays are brilliantly done. Worth the 9 quid the film at the start is just fantastic. I liked the interactive part where you could see more about the lake district.

Went when I was a child over 10 years ago, but it still carries the same charm and whimsy it did then! Beautiful soundtrack as you walk round, interactive screens that compliment the models and props nicely, as well as an adorable garden (it was also nicely air conditioned).

We really enjoyed it here! It is laid out really well. The characters are dotted all over the place and some are hidden away that you have to spot. The garden area is very pretty and well maintained. Although it is quite small lots of effort is put into making it look fantastic. We would definitely recommend!

Beautiful attraction which brings the characters to life. Kept very authentic and true to the style of Beatrix's animal friends. There's an activity book to complete (if you wish to) as you go round the attraction. The outside garden is just as full and enticing as the inside world. The cafe offers a typical sized cafe menu with 2 soups of the day usually and a selection of made to order sandwiches. The afternoon tea and McGregors Salad we have to give a mention to as we tried both and they were both excellent. Clearly fresh local ingredients, value for money and a must try. Overall the whole experience is one not to be missed.

Such a well thought out, magical journey into the world of Beatrix Potter's stories. This place really brings the characters to life. Far more than I expected and well worth it for any Peter Rabbit fan! It was quiet on a weekday during term time.

Beautiful exhibition all about Beatrix Potter and also her stories and characters. Engaging activity for the kids albeit it is quite a bit if you want it completed! My favourite parts were learning about her history and the really beautiful characters.

Such a lovely little experience! I wasn’t really sure what it included but was so surprised by the level of detail and effort! You first watch a short film about Beatrix Potter before taking a walk through essentially the world she created! It was absolutely stunning and very interesting! I also found the gift shop to be very well priced! Highly recommend for anyone who is Beatrix Potter fan, young or older 😊

What a wonderful experience! This was really kid and adult friendly. There was even a special activity for the Easter holidays - my son planted a sunflower seed to take home. Everything is beautifully laid out and we enjoyed the scavenger hunt along the way as well as the garden and water feature. The gift shop is well stocked as well and everyone is very friendly. I think it’s reasonably priced. My only cheeky request would be to consider family prices for 3 adults and a kid - Granny came with as well 😊.

We visited here on a Tuesday, & was able to get straight in, with no wait at all. The staff were lovely, & full of smiles. We didn’t know what to expect, however we were so surprised by the sheer amount of detail into all of the animals, & scenery. Our 10 month old, loved it & was just in ore of everything. Definitely a must for any children who like the books of Beatrix Potter, or I’m sure if they haven’t read them, they will love it either way.

The most magical experience for families. Our 4 year old was overwhelmed with excitement! We were lucky enough to see a show as well as the exhibition and had lunch in the cafe. Highly recommend!

As you would expect geared up for children but enjoyed by adults. Reasonably priced for the tickets. Enjoyed Peter rabbits garden as an adult. Worth a visit to learn a little about Beatrix Potter.

As a part of my Sperm Donation UK tour, I came to Lake District and, while here, had to check out Peter Rabbits' origins. There was lots of good info for those who loved her work for me. The settings were very picturesque.

I absolutely love this place! I’ve been a couple of times now and it’s just adorable! 😍 100% worth a visit, so much to see, everything’s so beautifully made and curated. The garden is lovely and really interesting, you can see how much care is taken! I didn’t visit the tea shop on my latest visit but I loved it on my previous visit! The gift shop is also really lovely! Would recommend to anyone, of course it’s great for children but we went as a group of adults and all enjoyed it just as much! 😄 There was just a slight wait to enter the first room where you watch a film, and it took a while to start but it was really informative and interesting!

Amazing place that brings plenty of childhood memories back of reading Beatrix Potter books. Love this place and the history surrounding Beatrix Potter, Peter Rabbit and the other characters. Gift shop was reasonable prices for a tourist attraction so thank you.

Visit is a treat for your toddler especially if they are into Peter Rabbit. Although visit can last only up to an hour, but there is lot more they can see all about Beatrix, Peter rabbit characters in this short span of time. It's a must visit place if you are around Lake District. There are some puzzles in the museum for the kids. Photo clicked before the exit is worth to purchase as it comes with creative frame. Also there are cute Peter rabbit themed toys for purchase in the shop. Don't miss to see the centenary clock which strikes every 30 minutes.

I thought that it had a decent amount of Peter Rabbit models including Mr McGregor's garden and greenhouse. They also included a kids activity book that my daughter was very interested in. I think overall it is a great place to bring your kids for some fun.
